I don't think I'll ever forget FDIC Indy...St. Patty's Day about 5 years ago...I walked into Ike's, there you were...larger than life, all smiles, great pick up lines, and beer in hand! I laughed and thought to myself "typical firefighter"...but it worked and I'm glad it did...we had a great time and found a great friendship! You showed me the proper "New York" way to yell at everyone when I need to cross a busy downtown street and even showed your teddy bear side when we went on the carriage ride...you're one hell of a guy Joey D!! Taking the opportunity to tell a person that you're life is better for having known them is something that too often goes unsaid. You're a very special person and you mean so much to so many people Joey...you have so many gifts you have been given (literally...ha) and you use those gifts to make a difference in this world.
