| Comments: | Our beautiful girl Augie (short for Augusta) is from a long line of Ribbonwood dogs. She is the most wonderful, gentle, loving 6 year old you could hope for. Her mother Peggy (known as Belle in an earlier life) was the most incredible dog we have known. She had a wonderful life, was a marvellous mother and died aged 14 in November 2006. On Christmas day 2007 my adult sons and I took Augie to her favorite swimming spot and scattered Peggys ashes in the river where she had had so much fun right to the day before she died. |

He was from the Ribbonwood Classic breed, the most wonderful temperment, loyal to the end, obedient, a fantastic healthly dog throughout his life. He has left his mate Mac behind, who is ten, we need to find an adult dog for him. Goldens are the best, many of our friends now have this breed purely because they have seen how wonderful ours are. |

| Comments: | This is my second entry in the book but I just have to tell the world about our Goldie named George. George has been with us since Sept 03 and has etched a place in our family tree as my furry son. He has the best of both worlds. By day he gets to roam the farm paddocks chasing ducks and searching burrows for rabbits. If it is hot he strolls to the nearest dam for a dip. By night he has the run of our house and usually curls up with me taking over the bed and snoring loudly. We don't go to places where George cannot come. He has been to Tasmania on the boat and on holiday with us in Mallacoota at Merrimbula. His favorite place is on the back of the Toyota Ute where he can reign supreme. We love George with all our heart. |

Jess loves nothing better than a great run around the park and then in to the lake for a swim. We have just intoduced Jessie with Duke one of the Dogs from Ribbonwood Kennel so fingers crossed that Jessie will give birth to a healthy litter in late December 2006. |

| Comments: | Merlin came to Linda and I from Ribbonwood and is approaching nine years old. He's still a big puppy, which makes him all the more special. Merlin is intelligent, bursting with energy when in dog 'leash free areas' and loves the water (did I mention he loves the water?)... Nothing (and I mean nothing) makes Merlin happier than when he is receiving attention (pats or a rub with your foot)--even food is of a lesser interest to him (the opposite to our other Golden Retriever--Indy). One of his special attributes is that he always there for you--thru thick n thin--making a tough day just fade from memory. Thank you soooooo much for giving the world dogs like Merlin!
