I received the new CD on Saturday. "Farewell to Carlingford" is (so far) my favorite. I like the wicked, echo sound of "Chariot" & "The Derelict" was humorous. Good job, guys.

Saw yur act for the first time at the TN RenFest, and was very impressed. Bought your new CD there, and there is not a bad song on it. The Dreadnaught in particular caught my ear.

I hope to see your return for many years to TN RenFest. Since our dear friends The Minstrels of Mayhem (ahem!)are no longer able to make the circuit, we need good music like yours to add to the others like Axel the Sot.

May your sails ne'er find a calm...

http://www.myspace.com/damsilfly I picked up a copy of Three Sheets to the Wind at GLMF this past summer, and have listende to it almost every day. I had the oportunity to get Treasures, Uncharted Waters, and Christmas on the Cutlass from Vinny at The Wild Rose Reniassance Faire this past weekend and I absolutely love Treasures. My husband stole the Uncharted Waters CD for his car so I have not heard it yet and it is a little early for Christmas music just yet, but I am sure they are both great as well. Looking forward to seeing you at Grea Lakes this year, and to your next CD.

I got to catch the tail end of your show at the Pittsburgh Ren Fest this past Sunday and then I stuck around for the Pub Sing. I must say, i've been singing "What do you do with a drunken sailor" ever since and I think my roommates are starting to worry about me. I hope to see you boys next year!

Discovered you guys on YouTube while searching sea shanties and the like. Me partner in piracy and I are taking a class called "Sea Songs and Shanties" at the Old Town School of Folk Music in Chicago. For our graduation we are performing aboard the Windy, a Chicago based schooner. We will be using your version of "Spanish Ladies" as seen on YouTube. It rocks! Great Pirattitude!
Do you ever play the Ren Fair in Bristol, WI? We go every year. Hope to see you in person at some point-YAR!

Gentlemen,
I received the new Treasures CD today, very nice. I wanted to mention how touching it was to open the CD and see that it is dedicated to Martha. She was probably the nicest person I've had the pleasure to meet. Always happy, I especially enjoyed watching some of the performers when she was in attendance, she seemed to trully enjoy the renfest. Take care,
Frank

I really enjoyed your performance; I especially appreciated your request to "sing another pretty one for me" at the Medieval Faire near Geneva. I still think the "Star of County Down" is the best song that there is, and you brought it to pub sing and than sang it in your own performance. Best wishes for great successes in the future.

Hey you food stealin' music playin' glass jumpin' belch salutin' drunken piratical pirates!

Listen up! Penfold has something to say and it is this:

Porter and Stout rock like a pile of granite tumbling down a sandstone mountainside and landing with a rocky rocking crash into stacks of limestone and marble!

Now I don't know about the rest of you, but that's a lot of rockin' to be had!!!

Enjoyed the shows immensely while you were at GLMF, can't wait to see you all on the stage or in the lanes again!

My dear Capt. Stout,

I was wondering if you had perhaps you had seen one Balthazar Beshalde in your recent travels; I sent him a magical energy post (some call it e-mail) some time ago, and have not received a reply. I just wondered if I should write to him care of you now, or if he had somehow gone awry of fortune, that he cannot reply.

As ever the faithful
