On the Net, I have found that there are 2 Benjamins listed, one for Zachariah & one for Peter as you have. From whose parents was the Benjamin who married Jane DuPont? Charlotte Manby Villepontoux was my ggggrandmother who married William Miles Heyward. I have Benjamin as gggggrandfather married to Jane DuPont. If you can help me, I would appreciate the truth in unravelling his parents. Also, I think that maybe Amariah Perkins might have been from New York, since I have not found any listings for her in the south. Have you given thought to that?
I am descended through the marriage of Arminius Oemler and Elizabeth Heyward, the daughter of John Heyward & Constantia Smith Pritchard. John Heyward was one of the sons of William Miles Heyward and Charlotte Manby Villepontoux. I would be pleased if we could correspond with finding out the information that I need. Also if I can help in any way with more research on the Villepontoux line, since I'm sending for more microfilms from the LDS church on France. I have emailed one of the Villepontoux family in France, but all I got was my married name added to his list. My surname was Dale, my mother's name Elizabeth Heyward Oemler, daughter of John Norton Oemler and Marie Conway. John Norton was son of Arminius Oemler and Elizabeth Heyward.
