What a night in Meriville last night. Lisa is wonderful. First row seats, a night out with my 19 year old daughter and Lisa held my hand at the end of the show. It doesn't get any better than that. I'm on cloud nine. Gary

Lisa (and my other Celtic Woman ladies), What an honor, privilege and unbelievably moving experience it was seeing you and the other ladies here in Chattanooga Oct 24th. I love your music and you brought me to tears with The Voice and I LOVE LOVE LOVE your cover of Fields of Gold... it was so beautiful. I was the awestruck long-haired gentleman with glasses on your stage right , edge of the aisle. I look forward to when I can see The Cast perform again. Your fan and friend in music, Charlie

Hi Lisa, just wanted to post about the Columbus show last night. It was absolutely too AWESOME!! Being there with friends, especially Sara, was just the icing on the cake. This show was very sentimental for me as it was 2 and half yrs ago, here in Columbus at The Palace that I had my first CW live show experience. At that time I was in row M with binoculars, thinking, just once I like to be in the front row. Better watch what ya wish for huh! :D. Looking forward to the Toledo show on Tues, and yes...we are in the front row....AGAIN. Take Care Mel

From the first moment I saw Lisa on PBS, I loved her because she reminds me of a dear friend who is also a singer. After listening to her for 5 years and attending 3 concerts, I feel the same way, only more so! Lisa has the most amazing and versatile voice and sings with such feeling, such passion! The other CW girls are fantastic, but there is something very special about Lisa.

For you and all the other ladies in "Celtic Woman". I saw you first on a PBS begathon, but I couldn't beleive what I was hearing and seeing. I ended up buying 3 of the "New Journey DVDs (My two sons also love Celtic music) I watch the DVD very often, and each time I do, I want to reach into the chair and buckle my seat belt because I know that I am about to be catapulted from my three dimensional world into a world with many more then three dimensions. My senses of sigfht and sound are about to be assaged in ways that I could never imagine in my wildest dreams. Individually, each of you are stunning in every way...collectively, you are breathtaking in both sight and sound, which is still far too understated

Desiree Lancaster
Thursday, October 8th 2009 - 02:06:32 PM
desireewon@yahoo.com

Dear,Chloe, Meav, Lisa, Orla, and Mairead, My name is Desiree Lancaster and I have been a fan of yours for five or six years. During those five or six years, I have been desparately trying to get the chance to meet you, and have met up with some challenges because of that. I am a visually impaired young woman from Bayport, I can't drive, I don't have the money to spend on concerts or even a trip to Ireland to meet you face-to-face. It's not easy for anyone to have their dreams come true, especially dreams like this, but it seems especially hard for someone who is disabled. I have wanted this for so long. I wrote letters. I wrote Meav twice, and she answered one of my letters. With the help of a good friend at work, I was able to see four of you in concert as Celtic Woman, but I didn't know how much had changed since your first album, which was the only album I had of you at that time. I didn't know Meav was not in the group, and it made me sad. To me, Meav was a vital part of the group, and one of my favorites. I was even more disappointed when I found out that I would only be able to meet Orla and Lynn. Now you may have noticed that in addressing you, I only mentioned the five names of the five original Celtic Woman members. I did not mention Hayley, Lynn, Alex, or any of the new members. I have wanted to meet you ever since I saw you on TV for the first time. That was when PBS was broadcasting your concert from your first CD, and the only Celtic Woman members performing on that broadcast were the five of you. I have been waiting for four or five years to meet you, and I am tired of waiting. I've been writing and writing and not getting a response, and that frustrates me. I ask each and every one of you; please, please Chloe, please Meav, please Orla and Lisa and Mairead, please read this letter and understand that I need your help. My dream is to meet you, so you are the only ones who can help me with this. My friend Erin, the one who got me the concert tickets and meet-and-greet passes, has gone above and beyond the call of duty to help me make this dream come true. She is a staff person at the place I work, and she has been threatened that she would lose her job if she continued to help me with this. I care about my friend Erin, and I believe that after all she's done for me, she doesn't deserve to go through all that just to help me. If you would just help us out, not only would my dream come true, but I think that Erin would probably get more recognition for her efforts. You are probably reading this and wondering, “What's in it for me?” My answer is that I don't know. I know that you are very busy and certainly can't take the time to help someone you don't know, but I am growing very tired of all the problems that have come up because of this. However, I will not give up on this until I get the chance to meet you. My friend Erin has sent you many letters, and we will keep sending you letters until you finally give us the reply we are hoping for. After all that I've gone through; the many emotions I have felt, the frustrations that both Erin and I have faced trying to get to the bottom of this, I feel that I deserve this. If not for anything else, I deserve it because I have had faith in you, faith that one day my dream would come true for many years, and it has not always been easy. I'm asking you to please, please, please, please give me some bit of hope. I'm not asking for more concert tickets, I am aware that Celtic Woman has gone through many changes in the past several years, and that the group is no longer the way it used to be. I just want any sort of indication that you will help me make this dream come true. Sincerely, Desiree Lancaster

I wanted to tell you that I played "Send me a Song" for my husband of 18 years on his death bed. He had seen the PBS show of Celtic Women a few weeks earlier and he loved it. He cried in his wheel chair. I immediately became a fan. Send Me A Song let me tell him to let go without having to tell him, he knew it was time. Ed was 43 and a casualty of the Gulf War 1 after effects (cancer). Celtic Woman came to St Petersburg, FL shortly afterward, and it was important for me to see you sing, in person. I cried a good portion of the show, maybe it was too soon or you just touched my heart so. I should tell you that I used to sing but have since lost a good portion of my hearing and cannot sing on key anymore. So I refrain. I can still appreciate good music, I just cannot make it anymore. Having you sing to my husband and saying what I wanted to say (telling him it was ok to let go), means more to me then you will ever know. My daughter and I have bonded through your music (even in personal crisis), she sings beautifully, and I hope she doesn't suffer my hearing loss. You bring such resounding reality to your voice and through your song. It was so appropriate for the moment. Ed passed on 10/2/2005. Tonight I listened to SEND ME A SONG, a little over 4 years later, and again it brought me to tears, yet uplifted me. I posted it to a widow forum as I hope it gives some of them the peace I felt in it, and the peace I know you gave my Edward. I didn't bring my daughter to your first concert so I am really hoping you come again, I think she will be old enough to appreciate it fully. Suzanne Gerstner

I want you to know how much your singing does for me. My 7 year old son is autistic and the bridge between us seems to be blocked 9 times out of 10 due to the inabiltiy to communicate with him. One night, he just would not sleep. I tried everything and as I was about to given up, I decided to turn the DVD of the concert on and turned it to "The Blessing". After you hit the first note, he stopped dead and stared at the tv. He finally fell asleep while you were singing. So thank you for bridging the gap between us...it means more than I can say

I also thought I must some how warn you that Mel and I will once again be together November 1st, and we'll be side by side not on opposite sides of the place (just remember this is fair warning)! On another note, I was really hoping to see you drive up in your big rig but Rich says thats not you. Lisa, just wanted to say hello and share with you something funny about my dog Raven. First off, he is part german shepard and siberian husky and he is 1 in a half years old. When I would put the cd of Celtic Woman from slain castle in and play it. Me and my dog would watch it, which is all the time and I noticed that Raven would actually watch and notice things that were going on in the show. It seems like he like certain songs and he actually goes up to the television and pokes it with his nose and looks back at me and gives me a kind of a wimper or a howl, like he is talking or something. But when you come out and sing the Voice, he actually sits up and watches you sing and he barks or howls when you are done singing that song. I tell him that it is an angel that sings that song. Just wanted to share that with you and thought it might make you laugh. Thanks Donna

Hey hey hey Lisa! How the heck are you? This is just a quick hello! I have nothing important to say, don't worry. ;) You crossed my mind today! As I was sitting in class this morning, soaking wet after the person behind me accidentally spilled his (not hot) coffee all down my back, I looked at my laptop screen (my desktop wallpaper has you, Alex, Chloe and Lynn on it) and I said to myself, "Well, I hope LISA is having a better day than me!" Hahahahaha. At least I hope you didn't spend your day smelling like french vanilla coffee. In fact, I hope you had a rockin' day today, and I hope you have an even better day tomorrow! Of course, it's already "tomorrow" in Ireland so whatever. ;) Love, Emily

Hi Lisa, After playing your music for the last two years and seeing you on PBS I saw you this summer twice. The first time was in Seattle, but I was quite away back though it was very enjoyable. This was also my first concert in my 71 years. While at home I was looking at other places you would be. I found 2 tickets for July 2 and in the second row. Mom and I took a vacation to Denver 45 years after our honeymoon in Denver. This performance will always be remembered by us. There are no words to express our wonder & joy. Love Scott & Roberta

Lisa ... I've seen Celtic Woman once in Bakersfield, once in Pasadena and twice in Hollywood. I'm getting ready to purchase four more tickets to your concert in Pasadena on Novembe 21st ... will you be there? You are truly one of the most gifted voices I have ever heard. If you are performing ... I'll be there. Thanks.

I just wonder if Lisa realizes how much she is loved by her fans. She is so beautiful and talented. That voice! WOW. I am sure I am among many that hope one day we will hear the news that she is starting on a solo tour. I love Celtic Woman but without Lisa they would just be pretty Irish singers. I am joking of course. They are all incredable but Lisa is a queen among princesses.

Dear Lisa Kelly, I am a music teacher, singer and mother myself. I love your performance of the song " May it Be". I cry when hear you sing this song. You have really inspired me. I used to sing more in public, and I am very gifted, but have not been using my talents the way I believe God wants me to. I am expecting my second child, and very excited. I am now married to a wonderful man. My beautiful daughter Lydia is from my first marriage. She is a blessing, but the marriage was very painful and as a result I have suffered greatly. I love your voice and you are an inspiration to singers and mothers everywhere. Thank you for sharing you sweet spirit and song. Blessings, Rachael Gill

Hi Lisa!!!! I am just dropping in to say hi. I'm not gonna lie, I'm pretty darn disappointed that I won't be seeing you in concert this Fall. I wish there would have been some Florida dates, but I guess we can't always get what we want, eh? In fact, I was feeling so sorry for myself today after I saw that there were no Florida tour dates that I went to Taco Bell to cheer myself up, and I must say that the nachos did help my mood a bit LOL. ;) Anyway, I am trying to remind myself that I WILL see you in the Spring, and it will be the NEW SHOW! In the meantime, I will make sure that Rich tells you hi for me if he sees you in Chattanooga. ;) Take care, Emily :)

Lisa, Lisa, Lisa, I enjoyed the three concerts sooo very much and each one was different.I was the "crazy woman" in Tulsa, Row one Seat one...who enjoyed the show so much, I lost my decorum nearly...just had a ball with "Sing Out" and other wonderful numbers...how incredible it was to meet all of you except Chloe...I had to go to counseling over it!! To learn to accept the fact that she was kept away from a fact to face meeting...The counselor( also a great fan) reminded me Chloe is young and I will get to meet her someday !!!I enjoyed every one of your songs so much and what a privilege it was to be so close to the stage. I enjoyed your sister's performance also-glad you Kelly girls could be together...and that your little ones could have "Auntie" so close by. You are radiant, your voice is the greatest voice of your generation...Thanks for a wonderful 3 shows...I live in JAPAN, so I don't know when we will meet again...Lynn has a wonderful song about that on her my space...Loved meeting Alex and Mairead also...Until we meet again..Sing out...you will be heard by all your fans worldwide. Love, carla

We drove over 400 miles to see Celtic Women at RED ROCKS in Denver on July 1st. I am 77, from the Big Band era but also love classical music. This is the first time in my life I have ever seen angles or heard them sing! My wife and my daughter and her husband were with us. Do you know when you did some of your songs, you really touched us. I saw people around me wipe away a tear or two. We got carried away too, with applause. Sorry we didn't get to hear SPANISH WOMEN. Went out and bought several of your DVD and a CD. Anyway, thank you for the music and the feelings we get every time we play a dvd or cd. Please come back to Denver and we will gladly drive the 800 plus miles round trip. We pray that you will tour again. Sincerely' Gifford Holt

Lisa, Wow, what a show on the 2nd at Red Rocks. You and the rest of the girls and cast know how to start a 4th of July weekend. I must say that Celtic woman is the only group I will drive across town and hike up the side of a mountain to see. I am proud to be an American and I love my country but, I am equally as proud of the Irish blood running thru my veins. What you do touches my heart in a way i have never felt before. It also brings my beautiful Irish mother back to me for a couple of hours. I so wish she had been alive so see all of you. She would have loved the show. Thank you, Gwen

I have purchased your CD and all of the Celtic Woman DVD's and CD's. I am so in love with your singing. God has given you the voice of an Angel. I always listen to your CD or Celtic Woman CD in the car, they are very relaxing and soothing. your music helps me to relax when I am stressing at the end of the day at work. I saw you in Palm Beach, Fl and can't wait for you to come back to tour in Florida. I have gotten many friends interested in you and the Celtic Woman music. Please continue to tour with Celtic Woman and I hope you do another CD of your favorite music. Your voice reflects your personality, you sound and look like an Angel. My only wish is to meet you in person. I am an loving fan.

Dear Lisa, I help take care of my 14 month old grandson. We like to listen to a variety of tunes. He was especially grumpy recently so we both sat down and listened to "Caledonia" and "May it be". I noticed that he was calming right down and truly enjoying your performance. Garrett may be one of your youngest adoring fans. Best wishes, Mike and Garrett

Howdy, My name is Dustin Sturm. I am a big fan of Celtic Woman and I enjoy listening to all of you in the group. I just wanted to personally wish you the best of luck or as in the theatre business "break a leg", on the show on the 29th and 30th of July. Wish I could be there to see you all. Have fun, Dustin Sturm

Hey Lisa!!! Hope all is well with you and the rest of the gang! You must be sooooooooo excited to be at the tail end of the the tour - bet you all can't wait to go home! You guys must be exhausted - that was a pretty heavy duty schedule you had to keep! Just wanted to tell ya that I've listened to "O,America at least 20 times on the net and everytime I hear it I get goosebumps... Hearing The Star Spangled Banner has always filled me with such a sense of pride and now when I hear O'America it evokes that same emotion. It's such a beautiful song and sung by such a great group of people! Lisa, I wanted to tell you about something I saw in a magazine last night - there was an add for these jello jiggler molds -(I use to make them for every bake sale at my sons school and they were always a big hit!!)I know your boys love "racing" and they had a mold to make racing cars - how cool is that??!!! I bet they would love making them AND eating them!!! Just thought I'd let ya know! Enjoy the next few days and then go home and have yourself a well deserved rest!! Thank-you all for sharng your beautiful voices with us... Safe trip home to all of you... Love, Fennell
