| Comments: | Congratulations on a wonderful site, Class of 62! I was on Facebook today and thought of all the wonderful kids I knew when I lived in Pine Bluff in the 4th and 5th grades--yes it was that long ago........Anyway, I looked at all the photos I could find and saw everyone I was looking for, except one. Those 2 years were wonderful to me, I just had so many good friends there and so much fun. Alas, we moved away, but those were 2 years I have always cherished.

| Comments: | Hard to believe that we are this close to the end of another year. Most of us have crossed or are going to cross that Medicare line. Remember how worried some were about the year 2000. Here we are about to arrive at 2010. Only two years after that to the 50th anniversary of our graduation. I would still like to be able to contact every member of our graduating class whether they have ever come to any other reunion or not. If you know the whereabouts of anyone on the missing list please try to contact them and let them know they have not been forgotten. |

What a wonderful way to go back in time to old Pine Bluff and even learn about areas and places we never knew about. You can spend hours looking thru the old post cards of Pine Bluff. |

The Ides of March is when 23 senators stabbed Caesar. March 17th is St. Patrick's Day. St. Patrick's Day is when 2.3 billion people turn Irish and get drunk -- and Mary Elkins O'Lewis is our winnah! |

Spent most of the time sipping bloody marys with Vonna and Isaac, watching old creepy movies, and enjoying the crackling fire in the fireplace. Is there no justice left in the universe? Was not the gauntlet thrown down on the header of the PBHS Class of 62 website about having a party? Have everyone of you guys OD’d on Geritol and curled up in that new box of Depends and settled down for a long “dirt nap”? Say it ain’t so. I'm not going out with just a whimper in the darkness, what about you? The ball's in your court. |

| Comments: | Needed a lift and turned to PBHS Class of 62 and read some of the notes posted. Feel ashamed for not taking the time to say hi or anything else to those long time friends that are still around.
I look back and can sometimes see fond special memories and faces. Truly wish everyone the best of health and happiness. Was living in Hot Springs hoping to retire there. Latest plans are to keep old place in Pine Bluff, with only half as much as we had a few months ago. Door #2 going as I have witnessed before in other couples. First she looses the weight, secondly buys the convertable and thirdly gets rid of Door #2(me). Life goes on. I still have a 91 year old mother in Trinity Village and a 88 year old aunt there also. Planning on staying in Pine Bluff until they both "fly up". Being responsible for financial matters for my mother and co-executor of estate will keep me here a few more years. I am planning to retire in January and if dreams mean anything, plan on buying 21 to 24 ft camper and traveling to Dallas, (Son, daughter in law and only Granddaughter and a little travel to Bella Vista to visit older sister. It all depends on soon to be ex buying me out of the business. Proposal made, but have not seen any money? It doesn't take near as much to make me happy now as I wonce thought it did. Don't drink alcohol any longer, have lost 25 lbs and other than a joint (sholder) or two, I feel that I am in decient shape. Will try and keep in touch with those what may respond. I hope you all have had a great year. John "Johnny" Nevener |

| Comments: | I would like to ask your help in locating any of the people listed below. For
instance do you know what college they went to, or did you live next door to them, do you know a relative of theirs, or especially in the case of the women do you know their married names. I really would like to have all of our classmates accounted for by the time of our 50th reunion. I know this may sound strange to some of you since I've only been to one reunion myself. I attended the 30th along with my husband. However we always knew about when the reunions were because we were always good about leaving change of addresses. However with Ray being in the Navy we were usually a long way from Arkansas. Unfortunately some people do not leave a clear trail to follow so to speak. Some of them won't attend even if they know but at least they will know about it and that we cared enough to try and locate them. 2012 isn't that far away. Let's see what we can do to account for as many as possible by then. Thanks for any help that you can give. I have already received two clues so I am excited. Mary Elkins Lewis P.S. Hopefully I have corrected a few typos that were in the email I sent out. You know how it is, you hit send and all of a sudden those errors jump out at you. | Comments: | Congratulations PBHS Class of ‘62 Scholarship!
Although not a part of “The Class of ‘62” (see summer of1962 reunion) I am proud to have been at PBHS the last two and a half years of my public schooling . I attended 11 schools in 5 states before returning to Pine Bluff at mid-term of the 10th grade. I finished high school at PBHS by choice. In the years since we graduated there has been a lot of despairing rhetoric and published words about Pine Bluff and Pine Bluff High School. PBHS Class Of ‘62 has shown that it truly has class. “It is better to light a candle than to curse the darkness.” We hope that in time this candle in the darkness will grow to be a torch and beacon. |

Another lovely morning here in the sewers of Paris. Not Hilton. We're talking the "City of Light" here. THM is convulsed . . . convulsed, I tell you . . . at the notion of attorneys going after my "assets." "ASSETS?" B-w-w-a-a-a-h-ha-ha-a-a-a-haaaaa-ha! Shirley, you jest. |

| Comments: | Gail, I'm attempting to concact an Inspector Clouseau who knows all the rats and sewers in Paris. If we can get him on the case, we should be able to flush out THM in snappy quick time. Once we find him we then can determine what assets we can go after. If we are able to act quickley enough, we should be able to convert all THM's assets to cash which would make a sizeable dent in the scholarship fund drive and pull the plug on Glasscock whining about money money money all the time. I've always liked killing two birds with the same shot.... |

| Comments: | If you have not taken a trip down memory lane with the Post Card site, you just have to. Click on the Post Card of Pine Bluff. The only thing is be prepared to spend at least an hour. I printed off at least 40 of them to sit with my family this Thanksgiving and talked about growing up in Pine Bluff in the fifties and early sixties, as well as put them in a file to write my own history about each one for my family. I was brought to tears when I realized our old hotel had inside shots of the lobby, mezanine and ballroom which were my living rooms untill we sold it in 1960 and we lived there my first three years of my life. The piano where I took lessons and the front porch where we watched parades that would stop at the court house and then everyone would come to the Jefferson for something from the coffee shop ice cream counter. Good ole PBHS is also shown from several different years. My Mother and her siblings and my brother and I all attended the same buildings. The Library, the Sanger Theatre, The Pines Hotel where we had dances, and all the railroad stuff, which my grandfater on my Mother's side was involved. Wow, what a wonderful pictorial venture back to our ole home town. It made my Thanksgiving. Thanks to Mr. Curry for all his time in collecting all these postcards. I am seriously thinking of putting up a web site now of the 60+ old Hot Springs postcards I have collected because it touched my heart to see all these places and to see them years before I knew them as well as those that were of my childhood. Go look at Pine Bluff long ago as well as through the years we remember in the class of 62. Happy Holidays to you all and revisit your home town with old postcards. |

| Comments: | This message is much later than I intended, but what a wonderful reunion, celebrating a wonderful class! Thanks to all of you who invested your time and efforts. Sondra's presentation "The Lost Year" was impressive, obviously a labor of love that represented her talent and passion.
Good music, good food, good friends. All good. On behalf of the "significant others" thanks to the class of '62 for making us feel so welcomed. Butch's significant other. |

Seeing old friends seems to get better as we get older. Many thanks and congratulations to all who put so much time and effort into making it all possible. We will be back again, and again . . . hopefully. Bob & Mary Lynne Cloar |

| Comments: | Hello Class of '62. It sure was fun looking at all of the pictures and would have been interesting to "hear" the remarks as each picture was being taken....ha-ha
Anyway, its fun to see you all having so much fun. Seems like the classes of '62, '63, and '64 were always pretty close. I'm sure its as hard for you guys to realize the years have gone by so fast too, but when looking at pictures of then and now, it appears that all have aged nicely. Thanks for the massive group of photo's and then putting it on a website for all to see. Best of luck on future reunions and keep on having fun. Bob Ideker, Class of '64 |

| Comments: | The Reunion missed you too, Paula. I, myself, was unable to attend due to previous commitments here in Paris. I too was apparently missed, though nobody gave me a second look in high school. Still, all is forgiven. You are now on our List, heaven help you. You'll have to come up with better excuses in future. Thank you. |

William Chapter of the DAR and the PEO sisterhood. I am a lay minister and a member of the orchestra and choir at St.Lukes Methodist Church. I have no grandchildren, so I do have time for other things. I didn't make it to the reunion because I didn't know a (damn) thing about it until the day after. Oh well, maybe next time. I didn't recognize anyone; everyone seemed to be having a great time. Vonna bought a t-shirt for me;i will be glad to get it!! Rock on!!! pb |

| Comments: | Hooray for the 45th reunion last weekend! I was thrilled to see several people whom I have dubbed "reunion virgins", in that this was their first time. I especially enjoyed Friday night's activities, including the joke-fest held in the bar until almost midnight. I lost at least 2 pounds laughing so hard at Connie Varner Prudhomme & her handsome husband, John; the irrepressible Billy Roberts, mostly befuddled Freddie Davis, laid-back Ronnie Jones, and Bob Glasscock at his personal best. I regret that Judy Formby Tucker & Gail Pippen Neil (did I get Bo's name right?), couldn't attend Saturday's events. I also didn't get to talk with Jerry Norton, the spit-wad king of 5th grade at Lakeside. Morris & I had a WONDERFUL time on Saturday. We both thank Johnnie Weiss & Kitten, along with many other caring classmates who looked after Morris when he had his dizzy spell. The doctor proclaimed him okay on Monday and attributed it to his low blood pressure (which along with a very slow heart rate is normal for Morris). I figured he was just trying to get out of dancing the twist with me! Kidding!! Anyway, everything turned out fine, and we had a fantastic time. We're looking forward to seeing everyone again as soon as we hear of future plans. |

| Comments: | Now Kay surely you don't really believe an old apron can put the starch back into you. I speak from experience. A much younger spouse is what it takes. My wife of 27 years was 2 years old when we graduated in 62. She let me know right quick that she was either gonna make me younger or put me in an early grave. Hey I'm still here. I'll see ya'll weekend after next.........Tom |

We are on the way to Disney World this week with four generations -- from Hubbubba (87) down to Tristan (7) and Keegan (6). I'll take lots of pictures and am looking forward to seeing lots of yours (especially Kimberly's new one). Isn't being a grandparent the best job ever???? See y'all soon!! |

| Comments: | I like the idea of local Pine Bluff ads on our site, which THM suggested in the last newsletter. If we're getting that many hits a year, and a month, we should capitalize on that traffic for our scholarship endowment.
Ten Pine Bluff businesses at $10 a month is petty cash to businesses, for a dynamic ad on our site, with as much traffic as we're generating. $20 a month is still petty cash. So is $30. Either way, it translates to $1,200-$3,600 a year for our endowment, for as long as we maintain our site. That's 0.01 cent per view for businesses in Pine Bluff (not even a penny!) And I'm pretty sure NO Pine Bluff business gets 28,000 hits per month on their website, as we did in July. Plus, viewers of our site are a highly-desired "niche" market, since we're all historically and emotionally tied to Pine Bluff. Tightly targeted online link ads don't get any more cost-effective for businesses, Zebras. Just my thoughts. |

| Comments: | It's a lovely morning here in Paris.
Hearing from Sandy Seymor Elder and her former confession of crushes on several Zebras, several Zebras are discombobulated that she will not attend our 45th Reunion. Hope, you see, springs eternal. Then there is the case of Mary Lynne Cloar. Attended an all-girls Catholic school. We're not getting into that. But she met her husband, BOBBY CLOAR, there? Naturally, our pea-brain immediately asks: What was Bobby Cloar doing stalking an all-girls Catholic school? Then, we remember. We've known him since first grade. Makes perfect sense. Anyhoo, he married a keeper and we love her. |

| Comments: | I just returned from my 40th reunion from Loretto Heights in Denver. Yes an all girls Catholic College, but that is where I met that one and only Bobby Cloar!!! Seeing so many after 40 years was fun, even dancing with Bill Murry, who attended our brother school, Regis college. That has to be my claim to fame right there. Anyway, nothing can compare to the wonderful times I have had with all of you at Becky's annual reunions. I feel closer to your class than I do my own.Thank you for making me feel so welcome with all of you. Looking forward to seeing everyone again. Mary Lynne |

| Comments: | Just received a phone call from Jackie Hendrix regarding your class reunion.
Would absolutely love to be able to attend and see all of you again, but looks like I won't be able to make it. My husband, Mike, and I live in Dallas (at least until he retires). We have one daughter, Carrie, who is 34 years old, married (no kids yet) and living in Los Angeles. I felt like our class had a great 40th reunion, but y'all obviously have a great connection going and your plans sound like lots of fun. Everyone wanted to have a 45th and I've already heard from Laverne Catter about getting our committee together to start making plans. |

| Comments: | Monday last, July 2nd, No. 6 grandson spent the morning with me as his mother carried No.4 grandson to the doctor. We decided to watch TV. He opted for a B class martial arts program and I for, anything else. We settled on a good choice, The History Channel, which was airing their “The States” series. When the Arkansas piece reached 1957 with comments by Dr. Sondra Gordy I mentioned that she and I both graduated Pine Bluff High School in 1962. The 6 year old wasn’t impressed by my name dropping and simply replied, “But Grandpa, your never on TV.” Wish I could be in Pine Bluff in August for the screening of “The Lost Year”. |

| Comments: | Thanks, Pete! An invitation packet to our 45th Reunion is off to Richard as we speak!
Does he have an email address? Because, YOU'RE now on our free Newsletter list, Heaven help you. We'd like to add Richard! Thanks for remembering Gary Moore. What a wonderful guy. We've lost some 10% of our class, now. Amazing, how they stick in our hearts. That's what these Reunions are for. Sure, it's 45 years since we graduated High School. But most of us go back to grade school. Seeing each other, hugging and talking, is like embracing six decades. Plus really good food and music. Glad you're with us! THM |

| Comments: | So many familiar names and faces from your great class of '62. I will try to get my brother Richard in touch with you. I haven't missed a reunion event yet from the class of '64. Broke my heart to see that Gary Moore is no longer with us, He, Richard, and I shared an apartment together in college. Gary was my big brother in our fraternity. Hank Weaver, I would sure like to know the where abouts of "Mudcat". We have missed him at too many of our reunions. I had alot of fond memories of playing football with him at Dial and PBHS. I would love to attend your class reunion but Ray Hale and I are going on a fishing trip together that week. Best of luck to you all at your reunion. Please feel free to contact me, if you need any information about my big brother, Richard.

And Tommy Cunningham! Welcome BACK after 42 years! Jack Mayberry? Yes, of course we remember all your names. You are the shoulders upon which we stand. Robert Patrick -- WOW! Talk about a voice out of the past! Though we're not completely CERTAIN we would recommend contact with either Mike McCauley or Tommy Cunningham. Saints though they undoubtedly are. Proceed at own risk. Particularly with McCauley. Who is a lawyer. Cunningham? A minister. Get our drift? We love them both. Attend the Reunion and make your own appraisal. Mary Elkins Lewis -- YES! And thanks! Ronnie, Kay, Jane, Bob, Carolyn, David, Becky, Danny, Joyce, John, Michael, Tom . . . and the ever-popular Anonymous . . . the regulars . . . it's not that long before you see each other again! I may even come this year. Sounds kinda fun. THM |
