You have an abosolutly wonderful site. You deserve all of those awards you won. I love horses. I had some when I was in Jr. High (a long time ago) anyway. I had a mare and colt that my Uncle bought at an auction. The Mare was afraid of people. When the trainer got on her he did not take her in a clearing. There were sticks and broken branches where he was. My mare reared up and came down on a stick. It went into her fetlock. I had to take care of her all summer and never got to ride her. The puncture wound finally was totally healed by the end of August. I miss her and her colt. I had named them Sasha and Apache. Apache was a paint. Sasha was a strawberry chestnut. My Dad sold them right befor school started. We were going to move to the city and they could not afford to pay for bording. Give your horses hugs and kisses for me. I wish I could see them myself. | Comments: | Well, I'm a NYC girl and the last time I was on a horse, I was a kid. It was in Connecticut and I was lifted onto her bareback. We got about 20' before I went off. The only ones I see now under under policemen or drawing carriages in Central Park. However, I must admit something strange happened to me viewing this site: between your obvious devotion, humor and the beauty of your horses and cats, I smiled, laughed and even eventually became misty-eyed...thank you so much for sharing ~V~ |
