Greetings from Kenya. I am Pastor Joshua Sindiga Obwogi, I am the Pastor in Charge of Getare Seventh Day Adventist Church here in the rural Kenya. We are 103 members. I do take this time, which by God's grace I have been granted to communicate to you. Here in Kenya, Africa the harvest is really ripe and there is great need to proclaim the third angels message like never before. The harvest is really read only that we do pray the owner of the harvest will send laborers to accomplish it. Actually I am writing at this particular time of the year that I may share with you our dear brothers the state we are in. Our camp meetings have just started .We do have a great need for bibles to give to our sincere and earnest brothers and sisters who do get born again at times like this. Our camp meeting is scheduled from 23 through 29 July 2006. With this effect we are trusting God for funds to buy our local language bibles. We expect over 250--350conversions during our camp meeting. As to such hence we need an equal number of bibles. Our local language bible goes at $8( Kenya Shillings 600.00) May the Lord enable you to do anything please let me know. At the same time we have an Orphan Programme , whereby we do feed over 300 Orphans and we also clothe them here. You can equally pray that God will direct his people to give generously and willingly. Nyanza Province where I am based has the highest Number of HIV/AIDS ORPHAS IN KENYA. Also pray for us that God will supply unto us funds to buy food and clothing for the 300 plus HIV/AIDS ORPHANS WE DO SERVE HERE IN OUR PROVINCE.
