For those seeking further information, the best book on the royal family, for me, is Edvard Radzinsky's The Last Tsar, and Radzinsky's The Rasputin File is also an excellent resource. Thanks for helping keep their memories alive, and may they be being well rewarded by the God in whom they so believed and tried so hard to serve. I think they are saints, personally! |

| Comments: | I love female history! Especially OTMA and by learning about them I learned about Alexei Nikoleavitch, Tsar Nicholas II and Tsarina Alexandra Feodorvna. Other people I have grown to admire and love over the years by learining about them are: Duchess Eleanor of Aquitiane, Elizabeth I of England, Lady Jane Grey, Madame Royal Marie Therese Charlotte de France, Queen Marie Antoinette and Mary Queen of Scots. The one thing I hate, is when Hollywood plays up the wrong aspects of history, and if I may take the liberity to say I find this website very good! You may take that as a compliment because I know a good historical website when I see one and this one is very good. |

The Characters Ivan, Princess Vasilisa, Tatiana become know to me. Then I have started to read Leo Tolstoy, Ivan Turgenev, Nikolai Ostrovosky, Borris Polevoy, Vera Panova, Maxim Gorky and more.
I think from my boyhood I have fallen in love with Russia (though I never been there). I am also very much interested about the history of Russia and some I have read. The Russia Tsars, Heros, Princesses, Princes are very much Interseted to me. I am also interested about Tsar Nilolas II and his family. Hope now I can get more info about them (Princess Olga, Princess Tatiana, more). | Comments: | I'm so very happy to see a tribute to a romanov still up! So many tribute websites about the girls have disappeared and that made me extremelly sad. I only have begun to learn of the Romanovs. I just finished reading Nicholas and Alexandra about three months ago and their story left me intrigued and wanting to know more about Russia's royal family, partiularly the daugthers because not much is said about them in books and from what I have read (when I was able to find something about them), they sound like a close and caring group of sisters who were beautiful and well behaved and very kind. Olga, Marie and Anastasia are my favorites. I hope one day that some tribute sites for the other two sisters will be up with lots of pics. They were so pretty and I wish I looked like them and had sisters like them, especially like Olga who seemed like a great big sister. I am very impressed with your site. The pictures are marvelous and I liked the biography and your layout. Your efforts have created a fablous site. Thank you for making it. The Romanovs should never be forgotten and when I see a site that honors them like this, it makes me very happy. hope you keep updating it. :) |
