The photos are so well done, my sister and I wept as we viewed each one. | Comments: | Thank you so much for photographing the cemeteries! It was always very important to my grandmother, Susie Pate, that we visit the cemetery when we were in Bronson. She died in 1994. I live in southwest Missouri and haven't made it down since then. Your project made it possible for me to 'visit' and show my son the gravestones of his greatgrandparents. You do a wonderful job of taking the pictures, too. You can tell that you really care about what you are doing. Thank you again.

It is my grandma & grandpa that is Annie Mae Jordan & Ambruce Douglas Jordan. I was not aware that the dates had not been entered on the tombstones for my grandparents. | Comments: | Correct to my previous: John Locke Barkley MARRIED Elizabeth Bostick; Mary 'Polly' Locke was his mother. She was married, apparently, to one of the Robert's but I can't seem to figure out for sure which one. Some researchers show the Robert I'm concerned with was married to Mary Davis. Some say Mary Davis was this Robert's mother. So confusing. |

| Comments: | It is great to be able to go to the Jordan Cemetery web site and look at all the tombstones, as one day I shall also be buried there. I would like to see the site updated tho. I was wondering if maybe you could help to get the Death Dates put on a couple of tombstones, ie: Ambruce Jordan and Annie Mae Jordan. That is my mom and dad. My dad got married after my mom divorced him about 1967/68 and is buried by his last wife, Gena, who is not my mom. My older sister has requested on more than one occasion that the dates be put there as all is paid for, but the people just won't respond. Maybe you can e-mail me more info on how to contact these people. Their place is in Batson somewhere. Thanks so much if you can help. |

I looked at the Weaver Cemetary Photos and saw some Weavers that I preached their funerals for their family. They were Causey Weaver and his mother Bessie Weaver. I have looked at some information you have on some of my Mc Innis Family and saw you had some names, but I probably need to send you some better and more complete information if you want it. Right now I'm working on my mother's family history on the Simmons Family. I have also done at least one funeral in the Brookeland Cemetary, but can't remember the man's name. My great-great grandfather William Ransom Slaughter was born in Mississippi in 1823. He was also a son of William Webb Slaughter and Nancy Moore Slaughter. Nancy died in 1827 in Natchitoches Parrish, Louisiana. William Ransom Slaughter came with his father and siblings to Texas in 1834. Darrell L. York |
