roots country etc. You should come to Memphis some time I have a show at least once a week. I have Ray Condo on May 1st James Intveld May 8th Wayne Hancock on May 27th and Big Sandy on June 5th. I heard there is some sort of major ugly competition between Josie and Kim Lenz I think they are both good its like apples and oranges. The problem with female rockabilly is that there are so few inlfluces from the fifties there were thousands of male influences but only a handful of female performers. So all you ever hear is Wanda Jackson or Janis Martin a little bit o Babara Pittman. I really liked Rosie Flores record a lot. I think if Josie got a stronger band behind her she could really take off, don"t get me wrong her band is talented but not seasoned at all, after doing so many shows I have learned what can make people come back the second time around, they just sort of went trough the motions without putting any soul into it but I am sure in time they will get it down.
