I left comments on your marvellous art work in this guestbook last evening. What I did not do, but wanted to was to ask you how you went about being self taught. Is it more expensive in your opinion than say going to learn from a registed instructor for instance. Do people actually buy paintings done in this style which I personally feel are very pleasing to the eye. I am dismayed at the number of adverse comments on the Bob Ross style from so-called proper artists. I do hope you or anyone else would e-mail me with any comments if you/they have time. | Comments: | Roy, you have learned your lessons well! I don't paint (yet), but I do subscribe to Bob’s philosophy, of painting fast and doing an excellent job within an hour or less. He said if you could put out a painting that way you shouldn’t worry about going hungry. You’ve heard of singing for your supper? Now you can paint for your supper or in my case I am able to sculpt or …, for supper.

| Comments: | hello ....first of all i would like to tell u about me if it is ok off course.... so i am 15 years old i am from Georgia but not from the states ....there is another country called Georgia too...i love painting, drawing, "ART" .... i might not paint really well but still i like it ....and most important : i would like to learn about art very seriously... i like your painting it looks cool but it would be better if they could be bigger ....so thats it ........
