| Comments: | We stopped in Skinningrove during half term (October 2004)whilst the Hogsmead Express was being built. To be honest, initially we thought you were potty for putting so much effort into something you were going to burn ! But by Friday it was astounding to see the masterpeice unfolding.
We think the community spirit and effort that has gone into this and the previous years builds is amazing. We have told everyone we know about your site and hopefully you will get more hits and more people will get to know about the Amazing Skinningrove Spirit! Well done all. It's a shame that we won't get to see the spectacle on Bonfire Night but we hope you all have a great and safe night. Laine, John, Thomas and Andrew. |

the only thing i would like to complain about is that it is not clear what you have to do to enter the site i think if you told people what to do you would get more visitors. |

| Comments: | A great site. I came across it whilst looking for Skinningrove Iron And Steel, where my grandfather worked around 1897-1919. I have happy memories of visiting "Skinny" as a boy. I was there for VJ Day in 1945. My great uncle, Tom Wheatman, was Deputy Manager at the Iron Ore Mine and I used to go down the mine with him on his underground inspection on Saturday mornings. Unfortunately I don't get to England nowadays in November; otherwise I would certainly come for the 5th!! |

I have allways enjoyed both the location, and the friendly atmosphere that I find there.
