| Comments: | Ouch, that sounds harsh...but thank you for sharing the truth. I think everyone needs to know what they're getting themselves into. It's not for the weak to put yourself out there and be rejected over and over again.
I love your site and your work is very good too. Thank you for writing. :) |

I have a funny feeling that deep down the reason why I've never submitted fiction for professional publication is due the hassles you've detailed. |

| Comments: | Hi Pattie,
I was just perusing the boards for some more work to crit, and came across your introduction note, which led me here. I just wanted to express my admiration for your commitment. I am feeling quite daunted, having read this. The chapter from the contemp WIP that I critiqued of yours was the best-written piece I have read on the any of the boards in my short (but active) time there. I am quite disheartened to hear that you have had such a hard time getting your work accepted. I hope you'll keep us posted on your progress. |

Oh my, they seems all the same... Anyway, this is highly enlightening. Now we know how they reject our works (The Labyrinth movie thing -10jpg- was hilarious), and I hope this will help any of us who wish to publish their works. |
