Sorry I couldn't make it to the reunion (I was too busy painting my collection of lawn gnomes). Anywho, now for my shameless plug: I'm involved with a charity organization out on the West Island called the Becket Players. Every spring, we put on a glitzy, high-energy musical & cabaret style revue in order to raise money for childrens' hospitals. We're performing out at the DDO civic centre for the next 3 weekends. It's great fun for an even greater cause, so come on out, see the show and say, "Hi!" (just ask for the Cabaret drummer). For more info, check out our website at www.becketplayers.ca Thanks. - Ed Lareau

In March 2002 Pearson had a reunion celebrating it,s 25 years of existence. Oddly enough the turnout was not what i expected. This is where i hooked up with Joe & Doris, Tom & Pat & Bruno. That March evening is where it all started. I could feel the enthusiasm when we discussed to organize our 25th. We recruited Rosa & Angelo as well as Roy & Mary to form "The Magnificent Ten"....& the rest is history. In all my years & all the activities i have organized....none compares to this one.It was a long journey, many meetings & hard work as a team....there were times when we felt a little discouraged....but we moved on with determination. I apologize for the continuous jokes & comedy fest, but i needed to keep morals high & spirits jovial. I have never felt such a feeling of accomplishment such as the outcome of that memorable evening. The last time i experienced such high emotions were at the births of my 2 sons.....the gratitiude that the fellow graduates have expressed has made all that hard work well worth it..... YES WE WILL ORGANIZE FUTUR EVENTS... holidays have gone by & we have returned to our daily routines!!!! But just the reminiscing of that Oct 25, 2003 reignites the spark to reunite us again & hopefully see some of our grads that were not able to attend. Remember that all events will focus on raising funds for OUR SCHOOL, & perhaps include a charitable cause such as Childrens Wish Foundation. A Heart felt thankyou to all those that praised the committee. But without you, & the teachers who attend...Oct 25 2003 would not have happened.. I cannot get over that we all have not changed....& YES the women looked fabulous...What a lucky bunch of guys we were to share our best years with these beauties. I truly believe that our year was a special one, we formed a special bond...remember the grad ceremonies & our sneeking into the Montreal Symphony Orchestra,s room where they stored their instruments, & Mr. Furlanetto almost passing out when he caught us. The singing while we waited in line....& who could forget as we sat in the auditorium at place des arts as we all yelled out ..AYOTTE!!!!. Well all this gives me the desire to round up " THE MAGNIFICENT TEN" & organize some futur events.....so you all take care and see you soon.

I read the letters & scrolled trhu the site...AWESOME....i viewed the video of that memorable evening....i must admit i got emotional. We were so busy that night & now that i was able to sit and watch the event....UNFORGETTABLE!!!

I only heard of the reunion after th fact through and old school friend met at the store during the holidays. Really wished I could have been there. It stirred up many, many fond memories of my school years. Looking through the guest book, I remembered some names of people i would like to get in touch just to say hello and get news. Is ther a list ? can i have access ? any response would be appreciated. Happy new year to all, I wish you the very best !

I am so bummed out about missing the reunion. My family & I spent 6 yrs in Virginia and only returned this summer-maybe that's why they couldn't find me. Just recently found out Joe Ruzilo's children go to the same school as my daughter and so I heard about the reunion- after the fact. My eyes hurt from squinting at the pictures on my screen trying to figure out who's who--well, you all look fab! I hope to see you at the next one!

Not only am I bummmed out about missing such a memorable event but now I have to live with all the extra wrinkles around my eyes I'm getting from squinting at the screen trying to figure who's who. Well, you all look fab!!! Just found out from Joe Ruzillo (who's kids go to my daughter's school) about the reunion. After spending 6 yrs in Virginia, we returned this summer so I guess that's why it was hard to locate me. I hope to see you at the next. And count me in any interim get-togethers. PS. I live in ST.Lazare and would love to hear from you!

I am soo happy to have been able to attend. I really enjoyed talking with some of you and regret that i didn't take more time to talk with others........but that music was so good that, my 1rst cousin Sandy Abella, who lives in Montreal, Bank Manager at T.D.Bank and I really enjoyed dancing. Hoping that if possible, in 5 years, if you do plan on another Reunion, I will try to come. Again,Thank You, to the 1978, 25th Graduation Reunion Committee. GOD BLESS, Connie Abella

It was really a pleasure to see all the old friends from Pearson. What a great school, my best memories are from that period of my life when everything seemed so simple. I tell my 3 girls to enjoy those years cause they really pass by fast. I loved seeing Helen Barba, Diane Bartolin, Jeanette Chan, Angelo Piscopo, Tony Minichiello, Rick Olivieri, Tony Valiente, Peter Mucci, Gino Loggia, Daniel Zanetti, Gino Agati and his sister, Mary Trafficante etc...etc... Thank God I found Mary Olimpo for the boys....they were asking about Mary all night long... I have been in contact with Anna Iachino for years and we are really lucky to be best friends for so long. As far as everyone else in High School, I feel that no one really changed, the characters are the same --still young at heart and great human beings -- Me and Anna had a blast with Rick Olivieri, Tony Valiente, Tony Minichiello and of course my dance partner Angelo Piscopo...you have great moves too Angelo...I am so impressed!!!! When will we dance again???? A big thank you to the organizers, Rosa, Tom, Roy, Doris etc...you did a great job...I am sure with your busy schedules, it was not easy finding everyone...If you need any help in the future and if you want to organize a supper for those that are interested, let me know and I will be glad to help out....We should do this every year!!!! Why not organize an outing at a DISCO...LIKE FUNKY TOWN OR SOMETHING LIKE THAT we can reminisce some more...I think THE OZ, LIMELIGHT AND DISCO CHARLIE don't exist anymore...too bad!!! SO TO ALL LIVE AND LET LIVE AND REMEMBER TO DANCE AT LEAST ONCE A WEEK!!! CIAÒ BELLI Antonella Bove

I can't let this occasion pass without putting in my 2 cents. Organisers you obviously put your hearts into this event, thanks for taking the initiative. Your hard working efforts really paid off and you made it a lot of fun. How strange to be a room where you know how old everyone is! There was a moment during the evening when in talking to Mira and Claudio, I realized that it could very well have been 1978. Then reality hit and we realized that we are now parents with six kids between us. Scary! Something did not fell quite. Another thing that struck me was how wonderful it felt to be amongst friends, all of us! From those teen years right through weddings, births, deaths, kids, careers, even divorces, here we are. It was a great evening and my apologies to those guests who I never had time to interact with. I felt like Nicholas Cage in a scene from The Family Man where he doesn't want to close his eyes because he knows that will transport him back to reality. It was a fantastic slice of life. Thanks again.

All night long I kept on pushing peoples faces back. No literally, I would go up to people grab their jowels and push back. You know, like in the movie "HOOK" when Jack returns to the lost boys after 40 years and they can't recognize him. Remeber the lost boys pushed his face back and all screamed "there he is!!!!!!". And thats what it felt like all night long. It was like returning back to Never Never Land. Days of our youth gone never to return but oh... in our minds the energy, the spirit and especially the future is still there. I had a great time and I thank the committee for the time and commitment to making the event memorable. Ladies, Gentlemen

Well! What can I write to that would enhance a GREAT evening. I heard during the evening " Thanks for putting this together " What you are all about to find out is I had a Special reason for the efforts as did the the other nine important people. Each time you told one of us thank you , YOU really confirmed our belief. For every smile & renewed friendship YOU made us believe in the reason for the evening. As we Watched YOU leave, our desire to hold on to that moment that allows us to in the school life again. Yes the reason we did it was to enjoy those moments again & if we were lucky you were able to join us. After all, those days mean nothing to us unless you are there to be apart of it. On a personnel note ( from my days as a 16 year old ) Damm did you guys see all those Beautiful Women that night!!!!!!!!!!! I had a crush on one or two of those WOMEN. See & read from all of YOU soon.

Thank you to the organizers for a night of sweet memories and surreal experiences...such as those mannerisms we carry that never change and watching eachother in dual percieved realities ( the past face and the present face) was right out of Star Trek not to mention how we riverted back to high school behavior....a 30th anniversary party?

Hi all, its now 2 days after the biggest bash of the century and my head is still buzzing. Al, that grappa at 4:30 in the morning really did it. I don't know about Fury or Bruno, but that stuff hit hard that I had to sleep it off all of sunday. More important, I wana thank all of yous who attended this magical moment from near and far, it was special and not easily forgoten. For those of you who couldn't make it, well, hey what can we say, better luck next time. You missed one heck of a 25th. Hey Marie Buonanno, you can ony dream about HOW IT WAS. I'm very disappointed we didn't get to see you even though your husband was there. You should of told me, I would of forked out the $75 if that was the problem. Well, maybe next lifetimes 25th. As for all of you's from St.Columbans, I hope you noticed how close we still are, we all sat at the same table and reminiced all night till late, love you guys. I hope the boys noticed how these women aged so well, weren't they beautiful? WOW. For those of you who took pictures I would appreciate you send me what you have cause I totally forgot I had a camera, too busy yapping and hugging everybody, my arms hurt. Again thanks and best of luck to you all We'll meet again I'm Sure Lets keep in touch and some day repeat this day. Tommy

Hey Class of 78 The night ended much too quickly. I did not have the time to reacquaint with all of you. It was so great to see all your kind (and mature) faces after 25 years. Being part of the committee was a rewarding experience. Thank you all for making this a success! Rosa

//Angie Piscopo

I had the best time ever. Thanks to the organizers. The excitement began the second I walked through those doors. It did not end until I left, at about 3:00 AM. OH MY GOD, all those old friends. The women looked "really hot".....and some of the guys looked good too (Tony Valiante)!!!! Had I not spent half the night tracking down Cindy Lemieux(Bono, you know why), I would have had time to say hello to some other old friends. The whole evening was perfect. Eating on the lunch table, and going to a school dance in the cafeteria. The only difference is, this time I had to dance (Thanks to Antonella)...... PS. I am still feeling a little hung over today.

Hats off to the organizing committee for a job well done and for using up their precious time in order to make this reunion a huge success. I must be getting really old since I do not remember the last time I got to bed at 3:30 am. Truly a night to remember! Thanks.

Hats off to the organizing committee for a job well done. I must say that I did not expect the huge turnout. It was quite a night! I must be getting old since I don't remember the last time I got to bed at 3:30 am. I will definitely be talking about this reunion with my high school buddies for many years to come- see, we don't get out much! Hope to get together in the near future.

//John D'Agata

I have to admit that if it wasn't for Piscopo's enthusiasm (he bought my ticket), I would have missed what was undoubtedly the highlight of my social calendar for 2003. It's pretty quiet up in the Laurentians. As soon as I stepped through the doors, I was transported back to a simpler time when all that mattered was whether my mom had made me a ''polpetta sangwitch''. I spent a good part of Sunday morning thinking about how lucky I am to still be in regular contact with people I know for 25 - 30 and even 35 years. I really had a good time talking to some old friends (I have a sore throat)that I had not seen since the graduation ceremony. There was some talk about a golf outing next year. Count me in to participate and to hunt down the MIA's who did not make it on Saturday night. A heartfelt thanks to the organizers for a very nice (walk down memory lane) evening.

I would like to begin by saying that I totally enjoyed myself on Saturday and this would not have been possible if not for the dedication and hard work of the reunion commitee. You people did a superb job. As for all the other faces I hadn't seen in 25 years, you all look the same! Annie, all I can say is...Oh Wow !, Antonella, you still have all the moves, Gary, it seems like yesterday, Marisa, you are wonderful. Greg...Ahhhuhh!!! Peter Mucci, I am offering you free membership to my " We never grew up " club! You still crack me up. To those people who could not make it on Saturday, I am sure you had your reasons but let me tell you, this was quite the BASH. If we do this again in 5 years, you gotta be there. I will never forget the 25th on the 25th!

Well, I haven't really thought about it that much. I think it's a semi formal function. That means I should go find my best looking white and black striped shirt with the (you guessed it) matching white and black striped pants. The good thing about my ensemble is that I won't need a name tag since my shirt already has one imprinted on it. PS You just reminded me that I have to ask for the night-off. My manager needs at least one week notice to ensure that there is another cook available.

Hi all, It's hard to believe it has been 25 years. Where has the time gone???? I will not be able to attend the reunion. I know everyone will have a great time.

//Tony Minichiello

It is obvious that some of my good high school buddies have way too much time on the their hands- Angelo Piscopo, ofcourse, is forgiven, since it is really difficult to keep yourself busy when your walls are made up of chain links! After you've counted all the holes-what next! John D'agata, ofcourse, is obsessed with aging and thus, I put in a good word to the producers of "EXTREME MAKEOVERS"- I hope he gets the work done in time for the reunion. Finally, the only reason Rick Olivieri bought his ticket is because he's the only one with hair on his head- so to all his ex-girlfriends- his wife is also out of town on the 24th. See ya soon.

//Angelo Piscop

Mini, I bought your ticket. Its OK don't worry, your wife doesn't have to know. I will take care of it........ if you know what I mean. What's the worst that can happen?

Tuesday, October 7th 2003 - 04:13:48 PM

//Rick Olivieri

This just out...Piscopo has finally decided to purchase his ticket but the best part is that he is also purchasing D'Agatas' and Mini's too! He told me that his week-end pass for the 25th has been granted and he is completely beside himself. Now he wants to know if his bell bottoms, cockrach killers and tie dye shirt are still in style...I told him YES!...oh, by the way John, Piscopo already asked BOTH your ex-wives if they would like to go with him...that should help you make up your mind to go solo

Monday, October 6th 2003 - 09:28:09 PM

//John D'Agata

Top ten reasons I have not yet purchased my ticket; 10)I feel like I'm sixty. 9) I look like I'm fifty. 8) I act like I'm still in High School. 7) I'm afraid Johnny Porfilio will use me as a punching bag all night. 6) You guys have not located Armand yet. 5) Minichiello's wife is in town after all. 4) Still hoping Flynn will invite me to his wedding. 3) I would have to start dieting immediately. 2) Can't figure out which of my ex-wives to take. 1) Piscopo said he would take care of it.....now I find out he's back in (again).

It is amazing how much fun it has been organizing this event, I can imagine the blast we shall have the evening of the 25th of October 2003. Just to be able to rekindle the old friendships and acquaitances we new of days past. 25 years have past and like good wine we have become better and more full of life. Both my wife and I are so looking forward to meeting all who shall attend. Please do not hesitate the evening will be a memorable one. CIAO !! Bruno Villani

GREAT!!! I WILL BRING MY STETHOSCOPE

//Rick Olivieri

See, what did I tell you about our dear friend All Alone Angelo. He even has a hard time spelling the poor guy. As you can see, he can't wait to MET everyone at the reunion...just goes to show you how much time Ange has to kill until the 25th of October. Why don't we all make a big effort and show up wearing white nurses uniforms...he'll feel right at home...oh and we need to be close to 400 people in order to make a big impact...for some reason, he loves huge crowds

Friday, October 3rd 2003 - 02:47:56 PM

//Angelo Piscopo

My parole officer has given me the OK to attend. But I have to call in every hour.....that was the deal. I cannot wait to met everyone at the reunion. It will be nice to see old friends (I am also looking forward to seeing Cindy Lemieux) and shoot the shit, exchange wrap sheets, do some push-ups.........ooops, I forgot I am out. Gotta go. PS. I was wondering if anyone could give me a lift back the "halfway house in RDP.

//Rick Olivieri

It's great fun to read all the sign ins of people we haven't seen in 25 years. By the looks of it, its sounds like it'll be a huge bash...and for those of you who are not planning on attending or are hesitant about the turn out, let me re-assure you that a friend of mine decided not to attend her high school reunion last year and she STILL regrets it to this day. Take advantage of this situation and don't be a no show. Oh yeah, almost forgot, Angelo Piscopo was released earlier this year from 25 years of solitary confinement, make him happy, he hasn't seen anyone in 25 years...BE THERE !

//Daniel Zanetti

It was fun to meet the organizers of this event. Hats off to the commitee for their initiative. Everyone should attend if they can, if for no other reason than to honor this group of people for taking the time to put it all together. I think their effort merits a reward. Daniel Zanetti

Hello everyone. I can't believe it's been 25 years since we donned our caps and gowns...it seems like yesterday. Well, maybe not yesterday, but certainly not 25 years. I am looking forward to seeing old friends and classmates. Thank you guys(the reunion committee)for organizing this event. Ciao for now!

//Angelo Piscopo

Looking forward to seeing old friends. John D'Agata, Tony Minichiello, Rick Olivieri and I are all planning on having a good time. We are also planning to have a big hoopla at Mini's house (since his wife is out of town for the week-end) after we leave the reunion. We hope that many of you (Gloria in particular) will join us at Mini's bash. I cannot think of a better way to cap off such a memorable event. PS. Enough with the lame, politically correct, dreambook messages

Mannagia! Already 25 years. Funny, I don't feel THAT old! I look forward to seeing some ol' pals and pallette's and hear their great stories, and see if they realized their dreams. I have a few good words for the teachers that will be present as well! (Nah! I've gotten over the "Porfilio, acqua in bocca!". Hope to meet you all in good health. See you soon. Johnny

Hello to all of you, I will unfortunately not be able to attend as I will be getting remarried that same day to a wonderful LBP graduate of 7 years my junior. So, in short, I finally did get something out of LBP. I hope that you all spend a wonderful evening reminiscing about the days where our biggest worry was how well we'd do on the next test. Have fun !

What a great opportunity this is to revisit who we all were in the past and how little deep down most of us have changed (excluding the appearances). The exercise of trying to guess "who is who" will be a true challenge for our memories. A Big Thanks to the comitee for all the work you guys are putting into this memorable event.

Hello Everyone, Good to hear from you all. What a pleasant surprise this is. I know this reunion seems a little far away, but time flys and yes time is short. So please, (without any commitment), send in your addresses and/or emails so the commitee can send out the invitations. You can decide then (with payment) whether to attend or not. Help us get this good thing going I think its well worth it,especially after 25 years. Cant`t wait to see everybody. Ciao, Tom

Hello everyone I am so looking forward to seeing you all again. I went to L.P. Pearson 25th Anniversary last April and it was great seeing old friends and reminiscing on our past. It's amazing to see how we haven't much changed, our spirit is still the same and although we are older, we still are young at heart. I am looking forward in seeing those I did not get to see at the Anniversary and hope to be able to find other graduates for the reunion. Thanks to Tom and his wife for finding my phone number. Keep up the great work guys. See you all at the Reunion!!
