The Human Development Society Karachi is established since 1993 and registered As a Non Governmental Organization since 1997 by the joint stock company and under the societies Act xx1 of 1860, Karachi having registration number KAR 3477 of 1997. The Human Development Society Karachi's registered and approved operation area is whole of the SINDH province of Pakistan. @ FOLLOWING ARE THE MAJOR OBJECTIVES OF HDSK 1 To provide help to the needy students widows orphans and any helpless person through guidance, counseling or with the financial available resources. 2 To establish educational institution schools and adult education centers for promotion of education without any discrimination of race, religion, caste, sect, color and creed. 3 To hold seminars, conventions symposium and teaching sessions for awareness for transmitting useful knowledge and fellowship. 4 To provide legal aids to the needy and aggrieved and to make efforts for Basic Human Rights for the common goods. 5 To establish library and reading rooms for the members and the public at large. @ MAJOR ACHIEVEMENTS A Since 1993 the society is running schools under the title of St. Joseph Model Secondary School, its office is in a rental building at St # 5 Azam Town 100 Ft Road Karachi 75460. The school is for boys and girls have about 400 students Which is a registered by the education department of Provincial Govt. of Sindh. B A coaching Center is also running for schools and college students at very low fee Rates. C The advocates of the society provide poor and needy persons legal aids. D The HDSK has organized seminars for awareness and teachers training to upgrade Their knowledge, skills and attitudes. E Identified by the community for improvement like literacy program for the working Women and low cast computer education program, street and abused children orphans Children and drug addicts. FUTURE PROJECTS The society is striving hard for purchasing its own land < a plot in the street No. 10 in the same area, that is under process> the place is for school, computer institute, hostile tuition, training and adult literacy center / School. To support the needy families in the financial crises HDSK will launch Micro Credit Schemes. HDSK is the community development organization working for the promotion of education. HDSK believes in participatory and working with the grassroots community. WE APPRECIATE YOU The HDSK will be highly appreciated and be utilized for the community development projects especially for women, children and disadvantage persons.
