| Comments: | About a year in a half ago I lost my Cat Kiki..My parents/sister got her in 1990 while i was in Germany visiting..i had just graduated high school and it was my graduation present to myself. So to my surprise, when i did finally get home, there she was...Kiki or otherwise known as Psycho-Pus..she loved to hide under tables and couches and attack peoples feet as they walked by.My Grandma was scared of her..but i would laugh and think it was funny. The years went by and Kiki was always there, she outlived my grandma who died in 1996, a few years went by and Kiki was still with us..then she outlived my dad who died in 2001, more years and my grandpa died in 2004. We would all laugh and say shes going to outlive all of us. My mom would say "Shes not going to outlive me" but she did. I lost my mom in 2006....Kiki was there for me! Then around May of 2008, Kiki started to not be herself. She would get lost in our very small house. She would wedge herself in extremely tight places as if she was trying to hide. Was she trying to die? She would even walk right up to the vacuum cleaner while it was going full blast. She was always terrified of the vacuum cleaner..that was when i knew it was time...My sister, brothers and other family members all came and said goodbye cause she had been around for so long and through so much....she was with us for 18 yrs!!!! It was one of the hardes things i ever had to do..Like you, I told her i loved her over and over again cause i wanted it to be the last thing she heard from me as she drifted asleep...We buried her that day at where my parents lived before they passed. Now they are all together...although it hurts tremendously..i think of the positive things and I imagine Kiki chasing my grandma and everyone else up in heaven, trying to get their ankles...I love you always Kiki!! |

| Comments: | Hello, handsome Boo Boo. We're sorry we've not visited sooner...we didn't know about you. The little old gray lady kitty who plays with you and Cody in golden sunbeams and chases colorful rainbows together in beautiful Paradise meadow is our Pressy. Pressy asked her family to visit a special kitty playmate Boo Boo. She told us she shares kitty love headbumps with you and taught you to send love signs on the wind so Mommy hears your sweet meows and purrs and feels a soft touch of your paw and kitty headbumps when gentle breezes blow. Pressy said you send signs to tell Mommy you and Cody are watching over her as guardian stars shining brightly as you wait until she comes for you one day to cross the Bridge to be together for all time. Play happy meadow games in beautiful Paradise with Cody and other furangels but join together often to smile at Mommy so she feels the warmth of your love surround her and knows you both miss her too and are with her. Soar among clouds with Cody now on silvery angel wings to watch over Mommy together always, beloved Boo Boo.

| Comments: | I wrote (a year ago) about my love, Mr Smoochers. I told you that I wouldn't know how to survive without him. On May 8, 2008, Mr Smoochers died. I was devastated. I had to take time off of work to grieve. Even now I cannot pass one day without thinking of him. He visits me when I sleep and caresses my soul. I know he is waiting for me... but it's hard to not be sad. I have since adopted Mister Cuddles -- he is and never will be Mr. Smoochers. However, he has made a home in a corner of my heart already. When one furr-face passes away, just remember that there are many more who long for a human to love them... visit your local animal rescue shelter. |

| Comments: | Hello Boo Boo. It so nice to meet you! I can tell that you were a baby that loved to love and cuddle with your mommy and daddy. My kitty is the only thing that has gotten me through hard times in my life. You see, I had to have my arm amputated due to bad infection. I struggled everytime I looked at my nub, until I found Kingsley. He is a beautiful Tabby that loves to be with me. He gave me direction when I found nothing other places. He was my light and motivation to make it through the day. I love you Kingsley, daddy is with you always. I love you more! It seems as though I cant let go. I love you, find your dreams on the Rainbow Bridge |

| Comments: | Hello BooBoo's Mom,
I just decided to "google"tonight booboo kitty and I came to you.Back in 1998 I had the wonderful chance to adopt two beautiful tabby cats. When I saw the first little one I immediately came up with the name BooBoo b/c of his "broken little back paw"(I almost took him to Ithaca,NY Animal hosp to see if he should be fixed)But he did not need to be fixed. So a short time later I recieved his brother Yogi.BooBoo is still with us and making everyone who meets him just fall in love.Alot of the ailments you described scare me b/c I have had "Boo" at the vet for some of the same reasons.I just started to cry when I read your story. How can a 13 lb animal make me love him so much, when my mom just died?Your story really touched me. I hope you get the chance to share that love again w/another "BooBoo" Lynn |

| Comments: | I look at my love, Mr Smoochers, and I wonder how it is possible to love someone so much. He is my life. I think of him while at work, while driving, while eating, and I can't sleep unless he is in bed with me. I wonder how will I survive without his furry face in my life, for I know that someday he will cross the Rainbow Bridge. I thought that maybe I was weird or crazy for being this connected to a cat, but it gives me comfort to know that others, like you, realize the love of a cat. I know you miss your Boo Boo. I know it was hard to say goodbye. I thank you for sharing your Boo Boo's life and story with us. |

I could tell by the look in her eyes that she had given up and no longer had the will to live. April 16 will be 3 years. I still miss her and cry for her.
I now have my own BooBoo Kitty. She has helped me to heal. God bless you. You were a good mother. I can tell. |

| Comments: | I briefly scanned your site and I was compelled to write a poem about "The Little Cat Angel" by Leonette Stanfield. I lost 'Keeker' (my pet cat, best friend and my 'angel' years ago. We literally grew up together for 19 years. For anyone who has loved and lost their best frind.... you must know there ARE cats in Heaven!
~The Little Cat Angel~ The ghost of a little white kitten Crying mournfully, early and late, Distracted St. Peter, the watchman, As he guarded the heavenly gate. "Say,what do you mean?" said his saintship' "Coming here and behaving like that?" "I want to see Nellie, my missus," Sobbed the wee little ghost of a cat. "I know she's not happy without me, Won't you open and let me go in?" "Begone!" gasped the horrified watchman, "Why, the very idea is a sin; I open the gate to good angels, Not to stray little beggars like you." "All right," mewed the little white kitten, "Though a cat, I'm a good angel too." Amazed at so bold an assertion, But aware he must make no mistake, In silence, St.Peter long pondered, For his name and repute were at stake. Then placing the cat in his bosom With a "Whist now, and say all your prayers," He opened the heavenly portals And accended the bright golden stairs. A little girl angel came flying, "That my kitty, St. Peter!" She cried. And seeing the joy of their meeting, Peter let the cat angel abide. This tale is the tale of a kitten Dwelling now with the blessed above, It vanquished grim Death and High Heaven For the name of the kitten was Love. |

| Comments: | I am sorry that your pet died. I have had a lot members of my pets and family die. Two cats, a Grandpa, 4 dogs, a aunt, and an uncle. I am sorry for Boo Boo, it is the sweetest cat I have ever seen. But he went through a lot of pain and suffering. I am glad that he is in a peaceful place now. He might like Fritter up in heaven, which also died in 1999. I visit this site everyday, crying my head off! Your cat acted like mine, well, sort off. It always went on the counter, and jumped on the bed. My cat was a Macoon. He drooled, put his paw on my mom's neck, and he purred loudly! It sounded like he was saying words like this:"Fritter the pumpkin pie, Fritter the beast" It was so weird! But he was always loved! He had white paws, creamy neck, and he was all gray. Boy do I miss him... My dad rushed Fritter to the vet because he wasn't looking good at all! I was worried, my mom kissed him the last time. She hugged him, and told him "It's going to be alright Fritter, okay? I will miss you!" We took Fritter to the vet, and we found out that he lost a lot of weight, he had Cancer and Liver Cancer. He was put to sleep at the age of 14. Fritter was below the normal weight he should be. He weighed 5 in a half pounds! When he should have weighed 10 pounds! Poor Fritter, as long as he wasn't suffering that's okay. When we were in the room we talked to Fritter as the vet got the shot ready. My dad and I were crying, and my sister didn't even care! Fritter's head was on dad's wrist, he was purring loudly again. The vet came in, she took Fritter out of my hands, I didn't want to let go but it was time for him to go. Then I saw the skinny, furball being carried into a room where they put animals down. I cried, that poor little furball, I love my Fritter and I would like him back! Oh please Fritter! Forgive us, we all love you and miss you! Bye Fritter, make peace in heaven! I miss you! :*( |
