| Comments: | I normally travel with my father, Jerry Riddick, to fish with Capt. Satch and his family. Capt. Satch recently stated that he enjoys when my father comes up from CT to fish with him. He said my father is one of the finest people he has ever met and I agree with that. However, Capt. Satch is TOP NOTCH himself. We have a number of people waiting is line to travel with us from the CT area to fish with Capt. Satch but we also enjoy the fellowship. These trips have now taken on a new meaning. We love to catch fish but even more we love and appreciate the friendship that has developed over the years. It is amazing when you can appreciate the great people that God has put into your path. We thank God for placing Capt. Satch & family in our path. |

| Comments: | The Gath IV.....What a nice smooth running boat. I do believe that Capt. Satch and Sons got a real gem when they picked this one out. Of course the 10 quart pail bathroom facilities could be a little better, but hey, I go back to the Gath days when all she had was a bucket too! Worked fine, never plugged up, and available when needed. What more could one ask for!
This boat will make a great addition to the charter boat fleet along the coast and it could not be ran by a better family. All the best, Al |

| Comments: | Received my 2007 newsletter and think it was one of the best yet - even though I didn't have my picture in the photo galley. Guess that means I will have to try harder in 2008. I also received my trophy letter and card from the state fisheries department - even though my redfish only weighed 2.5#, Iam very proud that it was a trophy fish and also very delicious.
Cannot wait to book my trips on March 1 - hope I can get through. Love to my fishing buddies. Jeanette |

| Comments: | I was reading the web site this morning - got a little nostalgic for the summer time. Had a great time as usual fishing on both boats. Hoping next summer is just as great - will have to work on my arm strength and get my hands working better. I can't believe my hands got so tired pulling up fish that I got cramps in them. Just proves you can find the fish, but I wasn't quite up to the task. I know I didn't get a trophy this year, but 7 pounds of haddock filet made a nice meal for visiting family. Ben is still talking about his trip with Whit - his new best friend in the whole world. Of course, Ben never stops talking - which is all right by me. Thanks again for the perfect trips. |

We couldn't have asked for a better trip with you guys. The Blues were just hopping into the Gath III! We had 4 on line at one time! Actually, I didn't catch any, too busy taking pictures I guess! We had great fortune (We don't have to depend on luck with a crew like you!) limiting out on stripers. Made for a tasty meal that evening, baked over the campfire. | Comments: | For Memorial Day weekend, my family came to visit Maine and we decided to take them fishing with Captain Satch. It was the first time that my family has ever been fishing in the ocean on a boat so it was quite exciting for them. Despite the fact that my mom (Kathy) puked a million times and then passed out, everyone had a great time - even my mom after she recovered when the sun came out. Captain Whit and first mate Joe were very helpful and nice to all of us - thank you guys. It was the first time in a long long time that my family had such a good time, even tho we really didn't catch anything. Definitely want to do it again next summer...you guys are great! Thanks for a wonderful time. |

I just wanted to say that the absolute highlight of my summer was the 6 hours I spent on your boat. I've been on several other charters, but I've never been more relaxed, had a better time, or felt more at home on any other boat. Does this mean we did not catch fish? QUITE THE OPPOSITE! The blues were biting immediately, and throughout the day, the stripers made for an excellent afternoon. A few sharks thrown in for extra excitement, and quite frankly you will not find a better deal anywhere in Southern Maine. Thanks a million Captain, I am eagerly awaiting '06. -Scott Charlton |

| Comments: | Good morning - it is 7:05 and I have been working on my lesson plans for an hour - suddenly I thought how much I would rather be with you today. My friend's husband was wearing one of your t-shirts last week while he was driving his big rig through Mass. - he stopped for a bite to eat and a guy came up to him and said " Don't you just love those guys". It took him awhile to realize this guy was talking about your boat, but he heard 20 minutes of nothing but praise before he could say his wife had gone fishing not him. He told his wife on his return that maybe he had better go fishing if you get a testimony like this from a complete stranger. I REALLY MISS YOU GUYS. Maybe see you at Christmas. I am reading a book on tying salt water flies - so might follow in my dad's footsteps. Jeanette |

I had such a great time this year fishing with Linda and Les - World champion anglers - they really made me work harder than normal , but in my case I really do not not what normal is. The "highlight" of the trip had to be Bear fighting that tuna. Wonder if his arms have recovered yet? I've been fishing for a whole bunch of years and this trip ranks up there among the top. On Saturday the 27th. I had the oportunity to fish with Capt. Whit and The Bobinator... What a crew! Capt. Whit NEVER stopped trying to get us into the fish...and he did! The end of the trip was fast fishing with Blues hitting almost every cast. I'm sure that Capt. Bobby Coombs and Mrs. Coombs was looking down at Capt Whit with a BIG smile on their faces. With Capt Whit at the wheel the Gath III can and will continue the "fishing tradition" that Capt. Coombs started. I've fished salt water from southern CT. to Boothbay Harbor and fresh water charters on Lake Ontario, Lake Champlain and Lake George, and as far as I'm concerned, Capt Whit has to be one of the best "young" captains on the water. He has one heck of a future ahead of him. All the best Al |

| Comments: | We went fishing with Whit and the Bobinator on July 28th with my family and my father. It was our first time fishing outside of streams in Vermont. My father had doen this several times before. We just can't say enough about Whit and Bob-they are SUCH PROFESSIONALS and made the trip SO much fun. It was fun listening to Whit get a bit nervous- "multiple fish on deck " or something to that effect to the Bobinator as several of us landed the striped bass at the same time. We thought it was normal to get so many!! lol then we heard otherwise. We caught and released them all my largest one was 30.5 inches and over 11 lbs. We caught between 37-39 fish on this trip and are anxious to get the pictures in October to scrapbook the memories!
Thanks for the wonderful memories!! Karen Powers Northern Vermont |
