| Comments: | Steve: just happened to look at the Guestbook again and noticed the comment about it being nice if SMH gear could be bought through the SMH website. As this is probably something the school does not want to venture into - a second option might be that the school at least provide pictures or examples of what is available to the public. The new school crest is something a lot of folks are not aware of and might be interested in. It sure gave a favorable impression with the juniors and seniors wearing them during graduation. I like the change to the front page. It's easier on the eyes. Now I just have to figure out where everything has been "placed". :) It ought to be easy enough, though. I just wanted to thank you again for allowing us a place to catch up on the happenings at SMH. I moved away 22 years ago, but when people ask me where I'm from, I still proudly say "O'Neill". My 6 years as a member of the Class of '86 contained a lot of good memories. Memories that will be with me forever. It was truly a privilege to be a part of the St. Mary's/St. Patrick's family, and I hope to get back to O'Neill and visit soon. Lord knows I don't get back as often as I'd like. God Bless. |

I don't think alot of people realize how much of your own time and effort you put into keeping up this website for past, current and future alumnus. St. Mary's will always have a special place in my heart and life. Four generations of my family have attended and/or graduated from St. Mary's and my dad has been a custodian there for several years now! My mother and her 10 sisters (daughters of Charlie & Alice Boyle), myself and my three brothers, NUMEROUS cousins and my two daughters, Holly (2001) and Heather (2005), are all proud St. Mary's graduates. My grandson Cameron attended two years of preschool at St. Mary's. My brother Wayne's daughter Megan just graduated May 2007 and his daughter Paige and son Cole are attending St. Mary's Grade School. Mr. Bahrij puts a lot a his own personal time and effort into building up and maintaining the website, he does not get paid to do this, he enjoys this and tries to make it a nice thing. St. Mary's isn't going to be open forever so it's nice that someone is trying to record and save what last history it has. If you can't write something nice then maybe you should not sign this guestbook. |

| Comments: | I hope you take this as constructive criticism, you can surely do better! The home page (ahem) sucks! Look at it, you can't even see most of the links. Using a photo as a background just doesn't work. Separate your left and right menus, put them on a background color that will contrast with the links. Put the photo in the center section. Many more problems with the site but the home page is a good place to start. If the site is a computer class project, it should have received an "F". I hate to be so harsh, but the site would rank in the top ten on the "Web Pages That Suck" site.
I have visited St. Mary's site many times in the last few years and it constantly changes (which is good), but it never gets better, it seems to get worse as time passes. |
