Every time I visit Hephaiston's Resort, I find myself falling even more in love with all the characters. What a wonderful place, and what wonderful people to share some time with. I have to confess though, that my favorites so far have been Connor and Kennett, as I adore a good "poor, little, rich boy" who gets his comeuppance in the form of love. And though I'm awaiting anxiously to find out what will happen between these two, I'm also enjoying reading about the other men at the resort, and where their adventure's in love and lust will end up. This is great! (I have some trouble keeping the characters straight, so the pictures really help, lol). I really like the different characters, and how you switch back and forth, but it makes the cliffhangers deadly, because who knows when you'll be coming back to that character. It's really good though, and the idea is amazing! | |

This is a great piece of original fic. It's really cool how you kept alot of the persoanlity of the physical representations you chose for each character (or at least the characteristics we associate with their most famous works) but then you switch the couples from what they normally would be! keep up the really awesome work. | |

Someone already commented that it is like a soap opera, but I'd say more like Dr. Zhivago-so many different characters to keep straight. I want to offer you words of encouragment, but I think you want some constructive critism, too. There is a continuity error between chapter one and chapter three concerning Richard. You write in chapter one that when Roxanne was twelve years old Richard and Candice divorced. In chapter three Richard tells Alex that he stayed married to Candice until she died. I also saw some assorted typo's, but I assuming that since this is a work-in-progress the final editing has not been done for each chapter. No, I am not voluntering ;.)
I would like to see you work on increasing the deep of each character's personality. This is hard to do when you've got so many different characters to worry about. So far I think the most well rounded character is Richard. I know this is sort of a PWP, but that can only take you so far. You got to get these characters through the rest of the week without getting bored with them. I think the story, and the relationships, have a lot of room to grow and develop into plot lines that can exend beyond the week's vacation. Of course, I am way too much of a coward to ever put anything I would write out for public consumption and critism. I am impressed by the effort you are making. I look forward to the next installment. | |

I love it! It's like a gay soap opera, with plenty of subplots to follow. I'm glad you included the pictures of the people you're fantasizing about; most of them are my favorites too, and it's a treat to see them out of context in new roles.
