believe that Thebes was actually named incorrectly in Hercules and Xena. If oen were to look at the maps provide in Homer's Illiad you can see that Northwest of Athens is a town called Thebe. This is very close and could easily have been mistaken for Thebes. I believe that the -s was accidentally attached to Thebe. |
