Comments:Dear Mr. Medina. First, I would like to tell you that I bought your book last year. This past year was my first year not on a cart. I have used several of your suggestions and modeled my room after yours. The disco ball turned out to be the best tool all year. I also made the eclipse (PVC) machine. I have seveal smaller projects in the works right now and hope to make the tornado machine next summer. If your try the link to my website rigth now it will not work. My principal took it down becaues it was too bury for ADHD students. I was also told to tone dowm my room because it was also too busy for ADHD students. Funny thing is, I had 100% pass rate on our Standards of Learning State tests for the first time.

Comments:What an inspirational teacher. I used StumbleUpon to find this site and I'm very happy that I found it. It's inspiring to see somebody who is so obviously devoted to his 'craft' or vocation. This is the guy I want my 9 year old's teacher to model herself on. Instead, in Ireland we have a rigid curriculum which eventually ends up with 16 & 17 year old teenagers learning by rote in order to get good grades. Never encouraged to question, never encouraged to formulate their own opinion. This teacher should be the yardstick by whch other teachers are measured.

You must be quite a memorable teacher if people still remember you six years later.

I am still amazed I got a 98 on the EarthScience Regents.
