| Comments: | Well, any fans of The Slayers series are friends of mine. I'm am an expert for when it comes to writing crossover fanfics. Personally, I make fanfictions that include characters of my favorite anime series and that would be: Sonic the Hedgehog. Sonic is my favorite hero because he's got attitude and he's willing to fight for the little guys who are too weak to fight themselves. My favorite character in The Slayers series is Sylphiel. I mean, among all the characters of the series, she's the only one who happens to have a part as big as the rest of the cast do. But what sucks the most is that Sylphiel wasn't given a supporting role that would last for one season of the series. Why is that? She's good with white magic, she cooks, she's a nice person, and she could even cast the Dragon Slave as good as Lina Inverse. Well, that's why I decided to put the shrine maiden of Sairaag in each of my stories and they would also have the rest of the Slayers cast to act out in the series of stories that I've started to write along with the characters of Sonic the Hedgehog. I dont usually read english fics because its not my first language but Slayers in Dreamland and Underneath the Surface are worthy to read even if they are in chinese! | Comments: | I just stubbled upon this fic in progress (UtS of course) and was immediatly hooked in. Your methods of storytelling are quite interesting as they have left me both satisfied with what has been revealed, and yet, almost completely confused as to what's to come.
I do so hope you end up finishing it, as most fics with high potential NEVER seem to get finished (probably from lack of inspiration after a rocket start). I've become attatched to this one and I'm quite looking forward to watching it resolve. Of course, this is at least partially due to caffeine. As to the extent of that... I'll get back to you. fanfic I have ever read. I don't just mean a as a Slayers fic either. I am a huge fan of anime and this fic out- shined every fic I have ever read. Now let me put this to you bluntly, I know of a publishing company that will publish your home-made stories if they're good enough for a resonable price with fair conditions. Since Slayers is copyrighted and trademarked, I don't suggest you try to publish this story, but if you were to write an original story, I would suggest you get yourself a copyright ($30) and publish it. I just discovered Slayers in Dreamland about a week ago, and I had a great time reading what you've written so far. I wanted to mention that in my opinion, the best thing about Slayers in Dreamland is the way you write the character's dialogue. You give each of them their own voice. A lot of fanfic authors make all the characters sound identical, or something about the dialogue just doesn't fit the character. But when I read "Dreamland" I sometimes forget I'm reading fanfiction, because the characters sound just like they're supposed to. I'm looking forward to seeing what happens next. Great job!! ^_^ |
