I've been a Talisman fan since 95' when a Swedish friend handled me "Genesis" and that was the only album I've ever listened till' the past year (2003) when my parents bought a computer so I was able to download the other LP's trough the internet, yes, I have the whole discography in mp3!!! but, do you think I like it? not at all, I hate mp3 so yesterday I went out to some music stores here in CHILE, that's the country where I live in, Chile, Southamerica and I found out that the only way to get the Talisman Remasters, God knows how I'm waiting for Life/5 out and Truth/lasrf, was paying those crazy and headless import prices!!! Dude, maybe it's ok to pay 30 dollars for a cd in Europe I don't know but I live in a 3rd world country do you know how much is 30 bucks for a cd over here???!!! Man, I've been a bass player for 10 years and Marcel Jacob it's a great inspiration and teacher, I learn a lot from his solos, but it doesn't matter how badly I want to have the original Talisman remasters, specially life/5out and truth/lasrf as I mentioned, I can't pay 30 bucks!!! that's too much over here and I forgot to mention that only 2 stores can bring them, most of them make their imports over amazon.com so the price it's already expensive cos' the CDs are already with import prices, imagine how much they would cost once they are here, 40 - 45 bucks????!!! NO WAY!!!! I beg you to do something, if you already have a Southamerican distributor or even a Mexican one, please send me the contact info, I don't have a credit card so I can't order over the net, but it would be a lot easier and cheaper to make the import through a store from a Brazilian or Argentinian distributor, I just have to give them the website so they can order them from there. I don't mean to bother you but I want those great remastered editions originals. By the way, it's great to know you guys are still goin' on and push harder to release life/five truth/lasrf and the DVD!!!!!!!!!!! |
