I am so thankful to Salina for caring for and training Chance so well and for all of her helpful advice! He is house broken, crate trained and walks on a leash with no tension at all! He has had no accidents and has not chewed on anything he is not supposed to. I can't say enough about how wonderful it is to get an older dog. He is still a puppy and lots of fun but without the usual puppy issues. I strongly encourage others to think about bringing an older puppy/dog into your family. She is a very loving and mild mannered dog and follows me around inside and out and comes when you call her. My husband and I are so very happy to have had the opportunity to adopt Dora. She has already added joy to our lives and we are looking forward to many happy years with Dora. She is good with other dogs and is very gentle with children. We can see that Salina gave Dora a very good life before we adopted her and anyone would be fortunate to obtain one of her older dogs or any of her puppies because they come from a very loving environment. Dora's puppies are just adorable and I'm sure they will have similar mannerisms as Dora. |

He arrived in super condition, even after a long flight and one airport delay. Now over a year old, he continues to be in excellent health and is a truly beautiful dog. He has a wonderful disposition, gentle, sweet, curious, and is great with both other dogs and people. My vet commented that I must have gotten him from a top breeder. The follow-up contacts from Serenade have been prompt and helpful as I asked general questions about my first collie. I spent about 6 months researching breeders of smooth collies before contacting Serenade and was impressed by their caring attitude and their careful breeding practices. I would not hesitate to purchase a puppy from this breeder.

| Comments: | My family purchased a wonderful smooth boy from Serenade collies in June 07. We were apprehensive because we purchased a collie two years ago from a terrible breeder. After just 14 months we had to have him destroyed because of defective breeding. When I contacted Serenade collies I was assured of the animals health and assured of good breeding stock. She is was wonderful to talk to and gave me every assurance that our collie was healthy and that we would be happy with our new puppy. She was aware of our past experience and took every opportunity to put us at ease. She calls me regularly to check on Merlyn and has assisted me with the many questions I have. I feel very comfortable with Serenade collies as a breeder and I consider her my friend as well as my breeder. I know she loves her dogs and is dedicated to assuring her clients that their new family members are healthy. | Comments: | Its been a while since I gave you an update on Sysco. He is doing great. We got him fixed a while back and he did well with that. I tried to keep up on the ear thing but well..it just wasnt working out. So his ears are not as tipped as I would have liked but he is still a handsome guy. He sleeps on my son's bed every night and then waits till my husband leaves for work and then takes his spot on my bed. ha ha. He discovered his bark a few months ago. A little annoying but he is soo smart and when we tell him "No Bark." He stops right away. He truly is a joy to have around. He is the most well behaved and loveable dog. We got a new puppy a couple of weeks ago by default. A family friend purchased a beagle puppy and only after one week decided he didnt want it anymore. We took the little girl in and my son named her Mya. Sysco loves her! I wasnt sure how it would work out but Sysco has been so happy since we brought Mya home. He lays on his back and lets this pup crawl all over him. She is so bossy and he lets her have her way. Somehow this new pup has settle Sysco down. I think he likes being the older brother :) I will have to send you a picture of them playing in the yard. Its pretty cute.

Then had an interest in the dog you had gotten back from previous owners that you wound up having to work with for a bit. Hope she turned out okay and you were able to place her. I found my dog through Christie Murphy. Brought her sable SAssy home 8 months ago. She's working ot great and happens to be the neice of my last collie. Small dog world here. He knows to come wake me at night if he's gotta go out and knows just who he can sneak extra treats from when they come over. We took him into the vet again yesterday for his checkup & he's already 29 lbs. He loves sleeping in our backroom out of all the rooms in the house now. Think its the cool air from the slider and backdoor. He's adopted Maddie as his big sis, they go out together and would be out there all day if I let him. My camera's out for cleaning but he had his first real snow yesterday (loved it) and I'll get some pics and send them soon. Again thank-you for letting Gixxer become a part of our family.

The vet said that she is a beautiful dog and could see that she comes from a good line. He also said that if I ever decide that I don't want her, he would take her! I told him that that would never happen. I love her dearly. Ruthie is a good girl and a great companion. She is already serving as a therapy puppy with some of the people in my congregation and is going to visit a nursing home soon.(However, Ruthie is adapting well. She goes everywhere with me. She is a real trooper. She even walked in the Crop Walk (for one mile)last Sunday! I will keep you posted on how she gets along. Thanks again, Roz |

Thinkin he loves the backyard cuz he kept running out there with the other dogs. The other dogs have already accepted him it seems as they were willing to share the bed with mom and him and Madi are sleeping on a blanket behind me. They can not be with out each other! Tyson will sleep with his head on Cody’s back. At his most recent check up in july, Cody weighed a healthy 71 pounds. The vet went on about what a nice dog he is. I always make sure to let everyone know that he came form you and if they are interested in a collie, you are the breeder they should use.

I found your website very informative and enjoyed your bio. I have recently had to put down my Collie (sable and white), Ra (named after the Sun) at 6 years due to liver ailment from phenobarb due to epilepsy. There was nothing that dog wouldn't do for me. She willingly obeyed, learned quickly,and was a joy to have around with her Collie personality. We were in obedience, but didn't get to receive our CD. She earned her CGC and TDI. I loved her very much. Even the cat misses her! We'll all meet again at the Rainbow Bridge.... Regards, Kim |

| Comments: | I used to breed and show collies for a few years in the early '90's. I really miss a collie in the house. I have been looking at breeder sites, and yours stands out as a breeder that I would deal with.
This is a weird comment, but have you ever thought of breeding Abby to CH. Misty Manor's Life's a Dance? I would be interested in that breeding. Anyway, I think that they would really compliment each other. How much do you sell your puppies for? I am a volunteer worker at a children's home in North Africa, but wish I had a collie again. | Comments: | Beautiful puppies. Beyonce looks beautiful. I currently have a tri female goin on 8 years old this fall. She is he granddaughter of my sable collie that I had to have put down last spring. Old age finally caught up with her (11yrs.) Got both dogs from Decor Kennels in Bridgeport. At present I am considering getting anothr collie to keep Dancer company. Haven't quite made up my mind yet. Had thought abut a pup that I cold train from scratch for a change. Last two dogs have been older kennel kept dogs. Would love to name her Katie. She would be my 5th collie. |

He was my bud, my best friend, and his name was Charlie (Char for short). Before him was Joey, and befor her was Penny. I've loved these dogs all my 40+ years.
