I really enjoy reading all about your orginazation and would like to help out by making some of these items. Could someone please tell me what the guidelines are and who to send my items to. I know what it is like to have a premature child. My oldest son was born 2 month early and only weighed 3lbs 1 oz at birth. This was 30 yrs ago and I thank God daily that he was so healthy. Now I would like to send some love to another family and child by making some of these things.

I recently started knitting on the kniffty knitter and what to be able to donate knitted items to a local charity. Please let me know if hats, scarves and booties can be donated. I am still learning how to make things.

This is a great program. I would like to help. I also am a leader for a Girl Scout troop of 6th graders and want to start them crocheting or knitting soon and this looks like a service project for us.

I LOVE the idea! I live in California and I know our church ladies would love to do something like that in our area. God Bless you as you minister to the little ones that need that love!

Ladies,

What a WONDERFUL project you are doing for these children. Something concrete and positive in their very disruptive lives.

I'm proud to say that my cousin Darleen Minnich is involved in this project as well.

All of the afghans are VERY beautiful. Keep up the good work.

Ladies,
I have never been so proud as I was carrying that armload of "woobies" down the aisle while the whole church looked on. I never in my wildest dreams thought that we would be able to accomplish what we have accomplished so far!

A month ago I set a goal of 50 blankets to be donated on the 15th and I was shocked that on Saturday night, as Meghan and I sat and put each of the labels that Sue Novak so expertly designed and printed and cut on each woobie, to find that we had almost made our goal and we had 46 to be blessed on Sunday morning. On Sunday morning, we walked into church to find four more afghans waiting for us. Thank you to everyone who worked so hard to meet this goal! Now, it's on the next goal. I'd love to be able to do it again. I know we can do it! So, go for it, ladies! Maybe we can even beat the goal of 50!

Hugs to you all,

Sandi

I think that this group is doing a great job and has definately earned their way into Heaven!!!!! GOD loves those who help others. I know the bible speaks negatively about "hookers", but I think this group has changed the rules. Keep on hooking...for the LORD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Love ya all,
Laura

I sure hope that you enjoyed this website. I can't thank my wonderful sister, Shannon, who did an excellent job of designing this great website! Thank you to all of you who have donated woobies or who are going to donate woobies. This means so much to the kids!

Thanks to you all.
