I'm aiming to work with storytelling in relation to abuse (all levels and variations) which will inevitably cross over into history as Australian history includes the genocide of indigenous peoples well as the ruthless use of migrant workers. | comments: | Ms. Sheila is absolutely wonderful. I've been to her presentations. She holds her audiences in the palm of her hand. I've seen her walk into an auditorium full of children, some respectful and some not, and she creatively uses her craft to arrest unruly kids' attention commanding as well as giving respect. And by the end of her show kids (along with teachers and administrators) are cheering to the top of their lungs. They leave having been entertained, educated and awakened to a new level of cultural awareness, a rich experience that money can't buy. She's approachable, passionate and conducts herself with a high moral standard of integrity. And she loooves what she does. A major thumbs up!!! |
