| Comments: | I am seeking information on a Dave or Davey Wilder, a white male probably born in the 1890's somewhere near Moores Pond in southwestern Franklin County. He was in this area in April-May of 1916. He was rumored to have enlisted in the military that year or in 1917 and was a casualty of the war, by combat or disease.

In response to one suggestion, be sure to check the "Cemeteries" page for listings (and often images) of headstones within specific cemeteries - the generic "Pictures" page is just a way of getting the pics online while waiting for more photos. Another posting asked about a Franklin County Genealogical Society. One is currently forming and interested parties can contact me via e-mail links at the bottom of every page in the Franklin County GenWeb site for more info.
