| Comments: | The Nubians, in both countries, North Sudan and south Egypt, are suffering alot, thier rights have been violated by both governments since they were immigrated by force from thier mother Nubian land and been located in strange places to thier culture and thier life style they use to live, according to this radical changes, many things have been change, including thier personality and language wich is falling apart (more than 50% dont speak it now, more than 70% dosent use it and more than 40% dosent even understand it), its well known that all the Nubians of New Halfa are still living under Aspistos roofs (Roofs of Death), and drinking of the same Aspistos water pipes.
Our Nubian hertage is highly in risk, time is passing, we need all the world to support our cause, they are killing us distroying our ancint great civilization,since we are living under a very bad olitical situation and can't speak loud,we need your help all around the world, you can make the change, we (all together) can change it, support our cause and save our lifes, heretage and land. |

This is a great site about Nubians , I’m an Egyptian Nubian too , living in London , I left Egypt many years ago and really miss home especially our Old Nubian land , as you all probably know that all the Nubians were relocated in the sixties from our original homeland to Kom Ombo Governante because Egypt built the Aswan High Dam, all our old villages, homes and agricultural lands are now under the Nile River waters , it is a shame and a bit sad at the same time because this land was to us a wonderland, so peaceful and all our homes were overlooking the River Nile ,no Pollution or cars ,every family had their own detached homes , no police stations or even police man as we didn’t need one ,almost zero crimes ,the Nubian are very peaceful and humble people ,and if anyone encountered a problem our elders use to sort it out in no time , we use to live of the land and everything was truly organic , after decades I still remember the fruit taste that I use to pick from my grandfather’s orchid , it was truly unbelievable, my grandfather use to grow Sugar cane ,Cotton, Peanuts, all the Fruits but the best for me was the Mangos ,many deferent varieties , The Air was Pure as we didn’t have Industries or cars ,we had a blacksmith for all the agricultural needs , and the Nile River ,the Sand , and agricultural lands in front of our houses , also in about a mile at the back of houses ,creeks , and sound of flute played by farmers heard from distance, total nature ,happy people most of the time ,this is why we intend to get back to our Ancestral land ,also to preserve our culture and most importantly our language , it is difficult to achieve with today’s politic but hopefully after Egypt’s Revolution we have more ears listening to us in the new Government ,we are optimistic as under Democratic Government we have more chance than at the time of Dictatorship , We will never forget our original land and territories ,we all want to go back to our Ancestral Land where Nubians lived for thousands of years the land of Gold ,this is where all the Egyptian Gold came from in ancient times , you most probably seen it in “Tut-ankh-amun” The famous Boy King tomb , The Nubians Ruled Egypt and we had many Famous Kings , Queens , prince and princes ruling Egypt,they had a strong Army which many use to fear , I’m listing below a good website where you’ll find allot about our Nubians History , we are the Natives and the living decedents of the old Pharaohs in flesh and blood, but unfortunately we are rarely mentioned , the French say “Ce La Vie” , what is important that we know who we are and that’s what count as one day in future we will be back ,you can count on us . It is truly pleasing to see that people are interested in the Nubians and their history as sometimes one feel that life is truly unjust ,Imagine where we were in ancient times and where we are today because of present politics , still life is not too dull ,we will probably get there one day ,if not my generation it will be for the coming Generations to elevate us back to where we belong , we are proud of being Nubian Egyptians, it is not perfect but still we love Egypt ,we just need to get back to our home land (Old Nuba ) we will never forget it. السلام عليكم و رحمة الله دعونا نتحدث بصراحة . نحن في مشكلة كبيرة كشعب و كدولة.فقدنا كل شئ يمكن أن نرتكز عليه . لقد تشرد أبناؤنا في جميع بقاع العالم طلباًًًًًََ للرزق الذى ضاقت موارده في بلادنا و عصابة الإنقاذ تملأ جيوبها بأموالنا . جيل كامل من الشباب لايدرى إلي أين يتجه و من سيمد له يد العون لكي يبدع و يتعلم و يساهم بسواعدة القوية في بناء مجتمع سليم معافى. أطفال لاحوله لهم ولاقوة ترى البؤس و الشقاء في أعينهم و دموعهم تفزع كل من يراهم. أطفال كالزهور و لكنهم عن قريب سيذبلون و يتساقطون كأن لم يحدث شيئاً . أبناء عصابة الإنقاذ و حاشيتهم فى جنات النعيم و لكن بإذن الله لن يكونوا ( خالدين فيها ابداً ) . كان ذلك أمر الشباب أما الشيبة فقد أصيبوا بالذهول و أصبحوا جثثاً هامده تنتظر دفنها هل يرضيكم هذا يارجال السودان ....؟ الإقتصاد هذا شئ آخر فنحن في السودان لانعرف شئ عن الإقتصاد غير كلمة إقتصاد أما ماهي ركائزه و كيف يتم بناؤه من أجل مستقبل زاهر لكل سوداني فهذه ألفاظ لاشأن لنا بها و هذا ماتريده عصابة الإنقاذ و تكفي تصريحات اللص الأكبر عبد الرحيم حمدي. الصحة و حماية البيئة هذه أشياء لاوجود لها في قاموس عصابة الإنقاذ فأبناؤهم و اسرهم و حاشيتهم فقط هم الذين يستحقون العلاج و الرعاية أما انتم و أبناؤكم و اسركم ياأهل السودان لكم الله و عناية الرحمن. التعليم , ماهذا .....؟ و لأجل ماذا .....؟ العطالة في السودان وصلت أعلى مقاييسها , الشباب لا عمل له سوى التسكع و تعاطى المخدرات و الحديث على الهاتف الجوال ظناً منهم بأنهم يقومون بأداء عمل و يزاولون مهنة التجارة من تلك المكاتب الوهمية في الخرطوم . الفساد و السرقات و الرشاوي أصبحت تزكم الأنوف و صار السودان في ذيل قائمة الفساد في العالم.. لدينا الكثير.. الكثير المثير الخطر الذي سنتحدث عنه في كلماتنا القادمة. لكن دعونا نسألكم. أيرضيكم هذا الذي يجري في بلادكم وأمام أعينكم يا أهل السودان؟ هل يرضيكم هذا الذّل والهوان؟ هل يرضيكم كل هذا النهب الذي يجري كل يوم لثرواتكم وممستقبلكم و أنتم كلأصنام لا تتحركون؟ ماذا أصابكم؟ هل تم تخديركم؟ إلي هذه الدرجة أصبحتم لا تأبهون ولاتكترثون؟ ما معنى وجودكم في هذه الدنيا ان لم تكن لكم قيمة وشرف ومستقبل؟ لا لن نسكت على هذا الوضع بعد اليوم. نحن في حركة "إلي متى" قد حسمنا أمرنا وأعددناعدتنا و أعلناها حرباً شعواء على عصابة الإنقاذ. لدينا خطة جاهزة وبرنامج عمل متكامل للقضاء عليهم وإعادة البسمة والحياة الكريمة لأهلنا في السودان. أول خطوة في برنامجنا وهي الأهم , أن نحظى بثقة الشعب السوداني العظيم لذا قررنا أن نقوم بخطوه تعد الأولى من نوعها في السودان إن لم تكن الأولى في العالم بأجمعه, وهي إجراء إنتخابات عامه أولاً لإختيار اللجنة التنفيذيه الدائمة لحركة "إلى متى" التي ستتحول الى حزب سياسي بعد دحر هذه العصابة على الإنترنت. ستكون هذه الإنتخابات مفتوحة عبر الإنترنت لكل سوداني يريد أن يصوّت على القائمة التي ستطرح عبر الإنترنت أو يريد ان يضيف أسم مرشح جديد أو يضيف أسمه أو يريد أن يطعن في إسم أي مرشح مع مراعاة الموضوعية و الأخلاق العالية. فسوف لن نسمح بأي عبث و تلاعب في هذا الأمر . كل شئ سيكون واضح و أمام الجميع في كل بقاع العالم و نحن نتحدى عصابة الإنقاذ أن تحاول إيقاف هذا الحدث التاريخى و نحن نعلم أنهم لن يستطيعوا فالإنترنت أقوى منهم جميعاً و لن يستطيعوا إسكات صوتنا بعد اليوم . العصر عصر المعلومات و لدينا من العقول السودانية و الرجال و النساء الشرفاء مايقف العالم كلة لهم أحتراماً و تقديراً لمواهبهم التي ضاعت في هذا الزمن العجيب زمن عصابة الإنقاذ . نحن نؤمن بالديمقراطية و الحرية و لذا ستكون هذه الإنتخابات قدوه تقتدي بها كل الشعوب المقهوره و ستكون خير دليل على صدق و حسن نوايانا تجاه هذا الشعب العظيم و هذا البلد الكريم . لذا نريدكم معنا يا رجال و يا نساء السودان فنحن لانسوى شيئاً من دونكم و نعاهدكم أن تكون كلمتكم هي العليا و رأيكم هو الرأى الحاسم . كونوا على إتصال بنا دائماًعبرموقع الحركة www.elamata.com عاش السودان و شعب السودان العصيان المدني ...العصيان المدني ...العصيان المدني elamata@elamata.com حركة إلي متى اللجنة التنفيذي الخرطوم – السودان Check MailCompose var url1 = "http://us.f505.mail.yahoo |

| Comments: | For the last few years I have noticed that our school system textbooks in World History display a racist attitude toward the African continent's early civilizations. In chapter 1 section 2 Nile River civilzation early beginning feature no kingdom until 3000 b.c. but 385 pages later in chapter 7 are Sections 1-3 Early African Civilization featuring a introduction to the geographic details of Africa and Nubia as a Kingdom in 3000 B.C. The Nubians are followed by other Africans Kingdoms in the west,the east and the south.
I am the only African American teacher in my school and every day I feel that I am fighting the Civil Rights War every day with outwardly racist attitudes of my principal and various members of the staff. Why must book publishers add to the stench of racsim? My name is Ankh Amen Ra. I would first like to extend my heart-felt gratitude for the creation of your site. It is truly inspirational. In the summer of 2001, I was blessed with the opportunity to spend time in Aswan. Needless to say, the Nubians welcomed me with open arms. The experience will remain with me for as long as I live. All of that being said, I would like to present two thoughts that I feel the Nubian community should ponder. First, after reading about the connection between Nubians and Darfur on TheNubian.net site I could not help but think about the insightful answers or clues that the Nubians of Darfur could contribute to ancient world history. Not to sound like a conspiracy theorist, but the genocide of the Nubians at Darfur may be driven by forces that extend beyond the Sudanese government and the Janjaweed. Also, There is a book written by Mustafa Gadalla (a Nubian/Egyptian) called Exiled Egyptians which systematically explains the migration paths of the so called ancient Egyptians and how truthfully the people who are referred to as Nubians today may really be direct descendants of the ancient Egyptians that returned to the south in order to avoid persecution from the Greeks, Romans and ultimately the Ottoman Turks. The book goes on to explain how many of the 'Nubians' traveled west and built the many West African Kingdoms that appeared virtually out of nowhere around 1000AD. I found the points intriguing and rational considering the history of West Africa and how many of the matrilineal societies in that area still retain many traditions that seem directly parallel to ancient Egypt. I am from the Kunouz section and there's a Fadijah section, I speak Kunouzi, Nubian civilization was a great civilization that extended from southern part of Egypt to Ethiopia, in Egypt the Nubians ruled after the weakness of the pharos, also some of the Nubian kings were Nifertari, Tutankhamon, and others this is other than the Kushites.
Also there was a lot of contervarseries about the building of the High Dam that affected the agriculture and the decline of cultivated land in Egypt, there’s a nice book talks about the Nubians in Egypt, peaceful people by Robert A. Fernea, and was published by University of Texas Press. The Nubian language there’s different sections and as in Sudan Mahaas and Dungola the old King of Nuba, but the Nubians after migrating to the new area in Egypt. The problem that I see is that the Nubian language is disappearing because it is not written language and by old generation departing the life, I am calling on the Nubians to write a dictionary of the Nubian language.t I couldn't see the site, I'll try it again.
