MY COMMENTS ABOUT KING'S QUEST GAMES: It is july 1st,2010, i have recently played mask of eternity and winning for about the fourth time. I would have to say that that game never gets old, and in my point of view is still one of the greatest games i have ever had the pleasure to play. The levels are unforgetable and the story line is great. This game is worthy of epic tale.
MY IDEAS/SUGGESTIONS FOR KING'S QUEST 9: I would really have no idea. Although I would want it to be similiar to the 8th one.

MY COMMENTS ABOUT KING'S QUEST GAMES: The state-of-the-art graphics and animation is just awesome!!! LOVE IT! LOVE IT! LOVE IT! The games are fun, refreshing, challenging and many many other adjectives. Again, I LOVE KING'S QUEST AND REALLY REALLY WANT MORE!
MY IDEAS/SUGGESTIONS FOR KING'S QUEST 9: A story line including Prince Alexander married to Kasema. The have a son -- a new prince -- and he must go off on some kind of adventure to save his family and Daventry again. :)

MY COMMENTS ABOUT KING'S QUEST GAMES: i liked about the 8th one is how it was fun everytime i had played it. it was a good game to play even after the 2nd time and i think i may have played some of the others from a very long time ago and forgot.
MY IDEAS/SUGGESTIONS FOR KING'S QUEST 9: make it a bit longer and more hidden stuff to do. maybe have some of the old charecters in there like u can meet connor from the 8th one that kind of thing

MY COMMENTS ABOUT KING'S QUEST GAMES: The story lines were really well thought out, I think as a female player, this was one of the most rewarding parts of each game. My daughter also loved these games and I felt very comfortable letting her play them, because there was no GRAPHIC battles. The puzzles and strategies fit perfectly into the story line and so you felt as though you were leading your character through a maze to get them to the HAPPY ENDING. I also enjoyed watched the game go through the advances of graphic design. It's very interesting to go back to the early games, just to see how far the graphics have come.
MY IDEAS/SUGGESTIONS FOR KING'S QUEST 9: Above all, it has to have a good story line with a great ending. Stay with the "Knights of Old" genre. There are so many futuristic games out right now, that a return to past is a must for the "King's Quest" series.
SHOULD SIERRA RESELL OLD KING'S QUEST GAMES? Please re-release these old games as a series. Even though I have most of the original games, my new system won't play them. I would buy them again if they worked with XP.

MY COMMENTS ABOUT KING'S QUEST GAMES: I played King's Quest VI nine or ten years ago when I was still a little girl. I loved playing it but never beat it (and never made it very far...), but now, several years later, my heart longs to play it again and defeat it. The graphics were incredible, the dialogue great, the narration clear, the story of romance... beautiful. I would do anything to play that game again.
MY IDEAS/SUGGESTIONS FOR KING'S QUEST 9: All I can say is, make it a love story, just like it was in VI. ;)

MY COMMENTS ABOUT KING'S QUEST GAMES: I enjoyed the puzzle solving elements of each other the games, but was less impressed with KQ8 which was very loosely a part of the series. I would enjoy another game, and would like some closer to the series as well as Space Quest.
MY IDEAS/SUGGESTIONS FOR KING'S QUEST 9: Try a puzzle solving game, it does not have to be in 3d ... gameboy advance and other 2d devices are still very popular.

MY COMMENTS ABOUT KING'S QUEST GAMES: the story line was great. I also loved the puzzles and the challenging aspects of them. The enviornments always got bigger and better which I loved making them more alaberate and more fun. The family of Daventry was also a great selling point. I felt that "Mask of Eternity" left the other 7 and ventured into an area that wasn't needed to make a great game, which is why it sold so badly. It wanted to be Quest for Glory, and admittedly those are great games, but King's Quest shouldn't have tryed to be it.
MY IDEAS/SUGGESTIONS FOR KING'S QUEST 9: Bring back the family of Daventry. Make Alexander and Rosellina characters again, or Graham who hasn't had a game since 5. This are classic games, just make an exciting world with the same elements of magic, myth, folklore, and pop culture and you'll be sure to have another hit. Maybe try to give the series closure if you have plans to do a 10th. This series never has to end, please don't let it.

MY COMMENTS ABOUT KING'S QUEST GAMES: I loved the gameplay of each an every king' quest. I think all of them form a unique set of adventure games that brought sierra a huge succes. It would be a pitty to stop now, when the computer technology has improved so much.
MY IDEAS/SUGGESTIONS FOR KING'S QUEST 9: I would like the next game to be kept in the adventure category. If the company decides that action/adventure is better for profits than an equilibrium should be present between the action sequences and the quests and puzzles.
SHOULD SIERRA RESELL OLD KING'S QUEST GAMES? YES! Absolutely! I have been searching for the original games for a long time and I think I am not the only one. I have some of them but not all. It would be even better if Sierra would invest in making the games compatible with WinXp(eventualy) and prepare a Gold edition or so(I realise it's a long shot but it might work).

MY COMMENTS ABOUT KING'S QUEST GAMES: King's Quest was the first graphic adventure game I played after cutting my teeth on Zork.It will ALWAYS be very special to me and I wish I could play it again, along with the others. I like the puzzles/problems that had to be overcome.There is nothing similar to that type of game today that I can find today.
MY IDEAS/SUGGESTIONS FOR KING'S QUEST 9: I would only suggest that there be a KQ 9!

MY COMMENTS ABOUT KING'S QUEST GAMES: The King's Quest series is THE GREATEST game series I have ever played. The games were story driven, unlike some of the crap put out these days where the extent of the story is "You are Bob. Go kill things." True, Adventure games may not have the best gameplay, but they are one of the best game genres around. Sierra has a duty to bring back Roberta Williams and Make KQ9.
MY IDEAS/SUGGESTIONS FOR KING'S QUEST 9: Since King Graham's death, the kingdom of Daventry has been in turmoil. A dark cloud has covered the land, making endless nights. Without the sun, plants are dying, winter has become year-round, and crime has soared. One day King Alexander was sitting in his throne when a familiar voice rang out. "Whoo-hoo. I can help you." MY COMMENTS ABOUT KING'S QUEST GAMES: They are all great.. with the exception of no.8 which takes a rediculusly long time to load and even a AMD64 with a Radeon 9700pro can't render a smooth framerate.. other than that its fine.
MY IDEAS/SUGGESTIONS FOR KING'S QUEST 9: Dont release it until you get it working smoothly and fast.

MY COMMENTS ABOUT KING'S QUEST GAMES: I loved the puzzles and depth of the fantasy universe; maybe it's just me and people who think Tolkein knew what he was doing, but depth is a great thing (and much easier to manage in a computer game)
MY IDEAS/SUGGESTIONS FOR KING'S QUEST 9: not 100% sure if it could be pulled off tastefully, but I'd like to see the royal family expand now that at least Alex is married (and possibly rosella) so that the adventuring cycle Graham/Alex/Rosella could grow

MY COMMENTS ABOUT KING'S QUEST GAMES: I loved the characters you met along the way. The thrill of figuring out (or simply fluking) the puzzles. The nonlinear nature of KQ6 was brilliant (multiple obkects would serve similar purposes). KQ6 is my favourite. I downloaded it yesterday and have already finished it.
MY IDEAS/SUGGESTIONS FOR KING'S QUEST 9: I think they should do it in the style of 6 only with better illustrations (more detail/higher resolution etc).

MY COMMENTS ABOUT KING'S QUEST GAMES: I absolutely loved the fantasy world of the Green Isles, and I loved the quirkiness of it's inhabitants. The intricate games/problem solving in all games made them both fun and entertaining, as well as educational. The only thing I didn't like was KQ8, which I found to be too dark and not enough fantasy involved.
MY IDEAS/SUGGESTIONS FOR KING'S QUEST 9: make it like the older formats and make it FUN!!! :)

MY IDEAS/SUGGESTIONS FOR KING'S QUEST 9: Make one! Perhaps having a choice of which character you can be would be good. A return to the more logic-based gameplay would be wonderful also

The only problem is the games were setup for windows 95 and no longer operate on the new windows platform. I would love to buy the series again and be able to play them again.

MY COMMENTS ABOUT KING'S QUEST GAMES: I loved playing all of the Kings Quest games! They were a favorite of mine when growing up. I think the whole series was set up great. They made you think while you were having fun!!
MY IDEAS/SUGGESTIONS FOR KING'S QUEST 9: Iliked the series very much. The way they were set up, how you really had to figure out what needed to be done and when, and exploring far off lands. I played KQ8 briefly and did not like the graphics as much as the previous games. But I did not play that one in depth so I can't give a good opinion about that game, however, 1-8 I enjoyed tremedously.
SHOULD SIERRA RESELL OLD KING'S QUEST GAMES? ABSOLUTELY!!! I loved playing those games growing up, and not only were they fun, but they did make you think. My cousins and I would sit around the computer for hours trying to figure out what to do next and were so excited when we discovered a new part of the game. I think the KQ series should definately come back for more to enjoy!!!

MY COMMENTS ABOUT KING'S QUEST GAMES: Not only do I feel that Sierra should produce more King's Quest games but I also feel they should produce more types of Games I have played and Beaten almost every game in the Quest series, Space Quest, Kings Quest, Hero's Quest aka Quest for glory Series.
MY IDEAS/SUGGESTIONS FOR KING'S QUEST 9: I have no ideas I'm not creative but I do suggest that we need more games that had the old feel to them. I was dissapointed when they got rid of having to type in what you wanted to do and just went to point and click. But now I would just be happy with the point and click style of play. Please all the games today do not even compare to the old Quest Style games.
SHOULD SIERRA RESELL OLD KING'S QUEST GAMES? Yes, I would love to go back and play all of the series again maybe improve the graphics again.

MY COMMENTS ABOUT KING'S QUEST GAMES: I adored King's Quest because being a gamer who likes strategy and role-playing games with no fighting/violence necessary is soooooo hard. There are very few games to choose from like that, and Sierra started a great trend only to become a "sell-out" and revert to the fighting ideas used in other games.
MY IDEAS/SUGGESTIONS FOR KING'S QUEST 9: No fighting, go back to fun stories, great writing and entertaining graphics/sound.

MY COMMENTS ABOUT KING'S QUEST GAMES: King's Quest is the greatest! I grew up playing these games (KQ4 was always my favorite) and I have so many fond memories attached to them. The old school graphics bring back nostalgic memories, and the simple gameplay and wholesome story lines remind us of what computer games are all about.
MY IDEAS/SUGGESTIONS FOR KING'S QUEST 9: Just keep up the good work! As long as it continues in the same vein as 1-7, it will be amazing.
SHOULD SIERRA RESELL OLD KING'S QUEST GAMES? Definately! Sure, they may be rediculously outdated, but that's what makes them so fun! The pixelated graphics, the typed commands, those laughable storylines, that's what made these games so popular in the first place. They're timeless!

MY IDEAS/SUGGESTIONS FOR KING'S QUEST 9: The only suggestion I have for KQ9 is, stay true to the basic idea of King's Quest. The basic idea being, a fantasy game. I liked KQ8 but it wasn't like the other ones. It didn't have that fantasy feel. I missed the fairy tale and mythical characters. I am just hoping KQ9 is like 1-7.

MY COMMENTS ABOUT KING'S QUEST GAMES: I really enjoyed all of the King's Quest games except the last one. It didn't follow the tradition of the KQ series. The KQ games are my all time fav. I first started playing them when I was eight.
MY IDEAS/SUGGESTIONS FOR KING'S QUEST 9: We need more of the old school games. They were fun and actually made you think to finish them.

MY COMMENTS ABOUT KING'S QUEST GAMES: All the gamws were unique in every detail. You had to really think and look everywhere for clues. I'm downloading VII & VIII as I sign this book. For thoes who are looking for earlier games, they can be found via P2P programs such as Overnet.com, Bear Share, KaZZa Gold & EMule just to name a few. And they are FREE!

MY IDEAS/SUGGESTIONS FOR KING'S QUEST 9: Keep the medieval character of the game (e.g. Daventry Castle) combined with fairy tales and legents. We all need asomething we could escape to from everyday hard reality and I beleive The King Quest Series was indeed a nice and relaxing way to do it.
