Great site. Really pleased to see there are still scooters like this about, I went to my first rally in '84 as a 16 year old mod and came home a 16 year old psychobilly. Still the same just older. I got out of scooters in the mid 90's cos everyone my age started listening to ocean colour scene and restoring turquoise and white series 2's! I remember a club in the late 80's that had a ratty PX and sidecar, they used to put the steering lock on and leave it going round in circles while they went and got some grub. i live in liverpool and as you may know, the kids round ere like to rob stuff and burn it out, it takes the place of cheap cider and skunk when they are skint, i have decided to clean up our local raller track(the old railway) by harvesting all the free bits i can, and build me and my mates some hardly rideables. fuckin top job, i hope to see you lads at a rally one day when i'll be buying you a pint and rolling a fat cone shaped herbal smoke, in return for the inspiration. if you ever get round to reading this, give me a shout on the email as i want to know more about these frankenstein beauties and how easy it is to get one on the road. nice one |
