| comments: | one could have been locked in a van, blindfolded and not told to which destination he or she was in transit. upon arrival, one only needs to step upon the granite doorsteps and enter the foyer (blindfold still on) to know INSTANTLY: gruene hall. the smell, the acoustics, the simplicity of the old woodframe dance hall, it is as if the music from generations ago live in the eaves, coming out to play with it's contemporary visitors. it is EXCELLENCE in it's genre: TEXAS MUSIC and keeping the independent spirit alive. we sure do need to get back soon! |

| comments: | Just wanted to drop in and say that we saw Rodney, Will, Stoney, Randy and Cody on Sunday nite (26th). Set in front of the bands family in 4th row. Family talked about everyone(like they were better), show was good, sound was awesome, lighting was great, staff was awesome. Ya'll really have a great staff. Like all the law in place. Will come back soon. Would like to see artists like Hayes Carll and Max Stalling. PS:#32 Gruene hall various sounds like a musical. |
