BIGGER, BETTER... Our last audience tagged us "incoherent, headache inducing, annoying and esoteric." We have fun. Judge for yourself... After years of bitching and moaning "When, Lord?! When's it gonna be our time?!" the Insubordinate/Lot 2 team is finally getting in on all the sweet, sweet film and video screening, artsy fartsy gallery action! A little piece of insanity comes to Cambridge, as Lawrence Hollie and Mike O'Toole take over the historic Zeitgeist Gallery for another night of visually stunning, odd and entertaining underground films, video shorts, and live action tomfoolery with a crew of unique personalites like no other - Saturday, September 2nd, 2006! Peep out flicks never before screened at the 'Geist! Marvel as special guest speakers provide A's for your Q's after each screening! And what flicks and which guests are in store for you? Read on: * Lawrence Hollie's NEW, theatrically inspired compilation of his RANDOM ACTS local TV series. (After which, we'll be shooting the Q&A for the next RANDOM ACTS TV episode) * Quincy Brisco's NATIONAL ANTHEME * Mike O'Toole's newest episode of INSUBORDNATE (sure to blow the last one far, far away) (After which, we'll be shooting the Q&A for inclusion on the forthcoming "INSUBORDINATE" DVD * The World Premiere live musical performance of INSUBORDINATE's Wayne Langford-Rogers' band, Reviving Disorder. (featuring their new song "Decisive Design") * The show also includes live action comedy, poetry by The Don (possible special quest: Mike O'Toole himself), music and possibly other ROCK BANDS and performers, other videos, and assorted D.I.Y. tomfoolery that we cannot mention here. If you would like to submit a video or perform or exhibit ANY type of artistic expression, the fee for soloists is 5 dollars, and 10 dollars for a group. Laughter is the easiest vacation (and cheapest) 5 dollars for the night gets you all this, plus FREE snacks, drinks, great conversation with cool people, and memories for life. *YOUR PROOF OF TICKET PURCHASE MUST BE AVAILABLE to get into the event. Article title: The INSUBORDINATE crew gets set to CAST the first POD in the web radio war!
entry:"Personally, I have wanted to do something like this even before doing work with video editing, coming up with the (public access) show stuff, or studying any media theory. Ive got a mouth on me, and I know the rest of the crew does too. This podcast is the audio to our TV show's visual. The "radio show" will feature the majority of our TV crew, and be just as creative and colorful, trust me."

Mike O'Toole, Producer.

Yes, preproduction is booming, and we should debut something of a radio program in the coming weeks. You heard it here first.

With tongue firmly planted in cheek, the INSUBORDINATE boys ask you to bookmark these links:

Our RSS feeds are LIVE right now, so feel free to prepare your ears a bit early.

(Uncensored and recorded live. The only thing keeping things running smooth will be the anal obsession with organizing a written RUNDOWN. For those playing along at home, that is a slick industry term for what is essentially a list or transcript, people.)

Article title: Insubordinate #1 : "Preemptive Hype" makes much anticipated debut for YOUTUBE & Google Video!
entry:The first episode is being plugged like crazy, and with the addition of YouTube and Google Video (awesome communities) to the roster of video sharing sites hosting the current show, and our street team becoming a reality, things could not be more exciting... Oh wait they could! Let's give the show to Mike-O's idol and inspiration, Kevin Smith - writer and director of CLERKS, MALLRATS, CHASING AMY, DOGMA, JAY AND SILENT BOB STRIKE BACK, JERSEY GIRL and CLERKS 2, shall we? We might be kissing some ass, but why the heck not, right? He's a press whore, and so are we. No no, we're just having fun with the idea of being able to talk with the man! Forget even that - we're just plain HAVING FUN!

Whatever happens, its funny how life works out if you keep a positive attitude about things.

Article title: Our first episode, "Preemptive Hype" debuts for the web on "6.6.6."
entry:Well, we premiered on Boston Comcast on April Fool's Day. And now we have taken the next step, again with little "preemptive hype," and finally made it to a world wide audience, thanks to the internet and our friends at Big Castle Productions and BLIP TV, on 6-6-06. Coincidence? Publicity stunt? We think not.

Article title: MAJOR Post Production News
entry:Hey all!
A major update on the retarded post production happenings for the show!!!
To save you from all the technical bumbo jumbo...
We have transferred our original shows to a higher, broadcast quality tape, taken them into the studio edit room to put the finishing touches on them, and get them preped for airing, according to station protocol and what not. Keep an eye here for air dates starting with a test run to ALL of the Boson area and then Needham and Newton. Its really gonno happen!
These initial episodes have been on the shelf so long, that they are not the greatest within our current technical and creative means, but for the next 3 months they are what will kick us off! Mike has been studying mass media theory and directing studio shows now, making him an even more lethal weapon in the production!

THANKS.

Check the website, soon to have a makeover, and a station list with start dates, times, channels, and those area sponsors!

Special thanks goes out to our occasional co producer and our second unit director, Lawrence!

Check us out, and at this point we get a head start on producing the next episodes, so we want your suggestions, music, videos, art and personality out there with us!
