Greetings. I'm an aspiring composer hoping to go to grad school, once i get the money and a little more practice. My dream is to one day go to Princeton. I really enjoy your music, and as a trombone player, really loved Canzona XVII. I live in the AC area so hopefully i can come to a concert or two in Princeton during the year! keep up the great writing. |

It's a great treat to hear your compositions in performance - - particularly for one now so far removed from the country's great cultural centers. Thank you for your fine music - and for providing me opportunity to hear it! |

Hei Judd, I stumble upon your talents while searching for music resources for my students. Listened to 'Let Her Be' and will be getting my kids to listen to it too. Shall be teaching them basic song composition in the next semester. Perhaps you can give me some ideas? Cheers. |

Hi Judd, I came across your score "Sonata for cello and piano (for Mihai Marica) through Mihai himself. I am something of a composer myself, and have been looking for my contemporaries. I wish we could find at some level any way a means of communication. Please write me via email. By the way, the website is very well done. |

This guestbook has been an interesting thing to have. The purpose of a guestbook really is unclear to me, in retrospect, in an age of e-mail. But it's nice to hear from so many old friends, whatever the medium. So I'll keep it alive.
The reason I decided to post right now, however, is that we can't have faulty Spaceballs quotes on my guestbook, or anywhere on this site, for that matter. Come on, Eric. The quote is "now let's see how well you handle it." If you're going to quote movies, don't choose those that I know by heart. That's a dangerous game. |

I thought that the e-mail I was forwarded said, "Or just reply to this e-mail saying you like me...," and so I prepared to reply. Reading further, I realized my error, and yet I write to that first interpretation anyway. Awesome job with the site and I like your editorial on 60 Minutes. Also reading the voices of some old pals in your guestbook. I hope to catch up in person soon. Until then, be well and keep up the good work. |

judd,
i like the yellow concept.
a lot. its really... palpable.
its comforting to know that grad students like yourself the time for side projects and personal web space building. (i'm just jealous).
anyhow, congrats. the site's great, but i take issue with your bio. its fails to mention that you are a devout vegetarian and have seasonal eyewear (these are important details) for which I hold high regard.
good to hear from you.
cheers, b |
