| Comments: | Hi Guys, Just to let everyone know, Harrow Skate Park is getting a 5'& 6' Spine ramp and a 4' mini ramp that will be on the freestyle area.
(Just for the H-Boyz) we have also got permission to dig out and put the wall back on to the Performace bowl. We are also going to concrete over ALL grass areas in the park and re-concrete & Bank the slalom run. This will happen as soon as we raise enough money to do it, which we are in the process of doing now. We are also getting an official web site for Harrow skate park to be announced soon. | Comments: | Skated harrow again for the 1st time in 20 years the other week. Its still as good as it was many years ago & shed blood in the pool to prove it again. Spent many happy school holidays & week ends skating there back in the 80s, used to watch my older brother & his mate skate the half pipe with ease & wished 1 day i could be as good as him. So returned to prove myself i could do it. Great times, Dont let them tear this park down! |

| Comments: | Great to see some of this stuff again. Harrow is where I learnt to take pictures of skating (curious, since I lived in south London) so I owe the various generations of Harrow skaters a lot.
We used to have slide shows at Jim Rennie's flat (bloke from Florida who was the first manager) and I would listen to what people said about the pictures and learn from them. |

As you all know, I've been Roller Skating Harrow for 20 years and more and can still drop in, hand stand and pull airs in the Half Pipe. I'm the last Roller Skater still standing !!..just.. I can still skate board the pipe too ! Great site and keep up all the good work. Where's all the old Pic's of the Performance Bowl, you used to have on this site ? Keep up the good work and memories. | Comments: | Used to make regular trips to skate at Harrow in the seventies with Craig Stanning and Dave Arnaboldi. Last time was around 1982 I think, by which time the park had fallen into a sad state of disrepair and the performance bowl had been filled in. Great to see it looking so good. In fact, at the ripe old age of 42, I'm thinking of making a comeback ! |
