His fellow governors across the country are echoing his request that all citizens pause at 12-noon Eastern Time for a minute of silence to reflect and offer prayers and thoughts of support for the victims and their families and all those affected by this tragic event. She was rushed to the ER last night with severe stomach pains, and then transferred to Ellis Hospital in Schenectady, where she is probably going to be undergoing surgery for "some sort of blockage". Her condition is very guarded, she is 82 years old. Please also pray for Joe and our family. Those who have been to the chapel know Joe well. He was assaulted in town by a gang of teens who were egging cars and harrassing people, on Halloween night. Joe stepped in to protect a lady and her child, who were being harrassed on their own lawn, and one of the gang punched Joe hard and knocked him to the ground. Physically we think he'll be fine, but we're all very shaken by this, and then the news about my Mom on top of it.... He will be pressing charges. Please pray for our whole family. Thank you.
