This course is an excellent choice for homeschoolers, people studying in an academic setting where Latin is not offered, people who do not have access to a Latin course where they live, or those for whom the online classroom is more convenient. This course provides the opportunity for live interaction with the instructor and other students along with the benefit of imposed discipline provided by a live teacher, with the accompanying homework and rigid schedule, but in a more convenient online format. | Comments: | We have recently built a Retreat in the central mountainous region of Portugal. An area which has attracted the attention of the Portuguese Government for promotion to the tourist industry. Portela Retreat is situated in a picturesque forested valley, renovated from local stone and timber and compliments its natural setting in the heart of a working, traditional Portuguese village. The village Mayor and local residents plough the land and recycle through their livestock of goats, sheep and chickens. The nearby school teaches English and Portuguese speaking children. Last summer, the local Mayor of the nearby scenic town of Gois (only 4kms away) arranged free Portuguese lessons to the small English/Dutch/German adult communities, and from this we decided to take part and support local promotion of the area by forming a partnership with language schools teaching Portuguese. We offer simplistic, but comfortable accommodation, in keeping with the rural Portuguese way of life. During a visit, students and teachers, will have the opportunity to experience the local culture, away from the tourist hot spots, meet and talk with the local residents. There are numerous historical sites to visit and learn from in the area, and the growing town of Gois supports shops, banks, cafes, bars, restaurants etc, where, predominately, only Portuguese is spoken. The local people are extremely friendly and eager to welcome visitors. We would like the opportunity to discuss what Portela and Gois has to offer in more detail, and ask you to please provide a postal address to which we can post additional information and our brochure. | Comments: | Hi Just downloaded sprachprofi, im just starting to learn latin - thought it would help. i get this error when its installing: - DllRegisterServer may not be exported, or a corrupt version of c:\windows\system32\cmdllgde.dll may be in memory..' then i get simmilar errors, when install finishes - it says its completed ok. But when i run it it says an error, then i exited it. Then i went to go back in and it says 'your free trial has expired!' - ive never even used it.. any ideas what messed up with this! I'd really like to try this software out! ;-) thanks all, Gaz. |
