Wonder if you wanted more information on your Kathan line. Eunice Kathan married Isreal Bigelow. But did you know that her sister Susanna Kathan married Freedom Bigelow, and her clusin Lucy Sargeant married Isaac Bigelow, brothers of Isreal. Capt John Kathan 1706 married Martha Moore. children were 1.Alaxander b. 1729 2. Margaret b. 1730 Mass. married 1st cousin Benjamin Moore. he was killed by indians 6 Mar 1758, Brattlebo, Vt. she was taken captive with her two children, 2 years later was ransomed back both children were under 2, youngest Mary C. Moore married Isreal Scott Hooker. 3. John b. 1732, Mass 4. Mary b. 1734, Mass Married John Sargeant, she is mother of Lucy. 5. Martha b. 1736, Mass 6. Eather b abt 1738 she marrie Benjamins brother Fairbanks Moore. Written out of bible because they had to get married she was about 15. 7. Daniel b.1 Feb. 1741 Mass 8. Charles b. 1743, Mass The Kathan family were the first settlers of Dummerston VT. (Fulham) Martha was d/o John Moore and Hasadiah Fairbanks and she was d/o Jonas Fairbanks and Lydia Prescott. I have more and if you are interested there is a Kathan Message board. There is also a Bigelow in Grand Rapids Michigan from Susanna's line I will have to look up his e-mail if I still have it.
