owner of a staffie that had to be put to sleep on the 10th November and t pain is sooo bad. I desperately need to purchase a new puppy but there are none available in KZN. | Comments: | We are on our fifth and sixth Staffies. A tan male - Chaos- and a brindle female - Bedlam. Named by the husband and their names have become self-fulfilling prophesies. OUr last Staffies lived to 15 as we feed them the barf diet with lots of meaty bones and hooves. They share them home with us, a cross labrador-bull-mastiff bitch and 7 cats and whoever may be passing through the house. Love them to distraction and they talk the hind leg off donkey. |

Your web-site is excellent and brings back to me old days in RSA. The first Staffordshire BT in Portugal came from RSA, I brought an unregistered pet SBT in 1993. Afterwards he have been registered (by his new owners as he does stand with SFT) in B list (without ancestry) and produce the first(THREE TO FOUR) litters with a female imported from Holland.And....than the breed become very well received, THE FANCIERS START IMPORT A MUCH BETTER QUALITY SBT and it is, now, popular in Portugal. The tiger is desexed by my son does obedience with her, my black has done very well in the show ring to date not unplaced, no challenges as yet but hoefully that will come if not how cares they are still great dogs, excellent with my five grandchildren. My black girl Chaos has just had 7 beautiful pups the grandchildren get in the whelping box and play with the mum doesn't worry about them at all. My son's tiger is Kala and she is well on her way to her 2nd obedience title with her.

| Comments: | First experience with a sbt was a rescue. I normally do GSD rescue but a client of mine wanted a small hardy dog to go with her family. Fostered her for a few weeks. Then tradgically client died and family could not keep dog. She ended back with me and was with us (myself,husband and two 90lb.Germanshepherds) She stayed with us for 6 months. Got her a good home. But she surely won my heart. She is a Little Dog with a BIG dog attitude!!! What a doll. Changed my mind about small dogs. |

After getting my first staffy i couldn't believe how loyal,easy trained they can be.Spencer(my dog)is the love of my life and i wish people would stop and think before they speak,i mean who have you heard complaining about a jack russell biting or chasing the postie they think it is good fun but if a staffy was to do that what would happen. He is called Rufus and is such a bit part of the family, he loves the kids, both teenagers whom I might add are always walking him!! He is a little naughty with our 3 cats but they soon put him in his place!! He still even goes to visit his parents at the breeders house as they live local. I just want to say that I fell in love with the breed years ago but never had the courage to own one, now however I wouldn't be without one and look forward to getting another one in a year or so!! A really neat Website. My wife and I have just been the lucky recipients of a male Staffie by the name of Felix ( Ch Lord Lou ) as his owners have left SA. What a champ he is.
