Comments:This is a great site. I must say that I'm glad to know that I'm not alone with my fascination with Sue Lyon. I'm seen Lolita about 10 times, am reading the book for the second time, and have also seen Night of the Inguana. Do you know here whereabouts these days? I hope she realizes that she is quite the fascinating screen presence, and I hope she one day emerges from her shadow and gets her just due.

Thanks again,

Comments:Thanks for your website! I had followed Sue Lyon's career through the late 1970s and had often wondered what happend to her afterwords. It's a shame Hollywood discarded such a talent! From your biography on her and from link sites that you provide, it appears that she has chosen to stay out of the public eye and lead a private life. Perhaps one day she will aggree to an interview. In any case, I wish you well Sue!

Comments:I was enthrawled upon seeing the required film for my Spring Semester class. Sue Lyon was truely a natural! Both in beauty and in spontaneos reaction. That brought such life to her role. She made Lolita come alive. She should be proud that her method of acting produced such profound and lasting performance. I really adhored her as Lolita. I intend to catch her other films. If my career takes off after I leave college-I am studying the performing and visual arts-I hope to develop a script which I will offer to the lovely Sue Lyon. It should be a testimate to the power and grace she gave to the screen. She was exactly the kind of girl I would have had an immense crush on had I not been so young-a one year old infant at the release of Lolita. At the very least, I must attend an audience with that marvel of natural tallent one day. If only to let her know-in person-what a charm she truely is. She was and is unique! Sue Lyon you are Magnificent! Your strength of character is one of your many assets. So is your special view of this world. Never sell yourself short. Too many people love you. You are one of a kind and there never will be anyone like you ever again. Bless you for being!

Comments:thanks for documents and photographs of everlasting lolita caracter. I didn't understand if lady Sue Lyons reads sometimes anything of this "dreambook". If it may happens, I just give her salutations for the immemorable fascinating charm and beauty in playing famous Lolita girl. Lady Sue was of course masterly directed by Kubrick, so she became some kind of icon for ever. As I am some kind of intellectual person involved in oriental and spiritual thought studies (in this sens, I identified whith Humbert caracter, this is why I am quite fascinated by the film), I am interpreting lolita's story in some kind of metaphysical or cosmological symbolism very far of the usual psychological and moral reading...Lady Sue Lyons was, as playing lolita, providential support and symbol of eternal and mysterious fascinating feminine power over creation, power of life and death in the same time, like in hindu tradition of Godess and judeo christian myth of Eve. The story of lolita and fascinating seduction power of mrs Sue Lyons in this film are modern cinematographic evocation of this theme (this is why Humbert must go to death finally, attracted by Lolita who is life and death irresistible power). So congratulations to lady Sue: merci mademoiselle, et au plaisir de vous voir dans ce monde ou dans l'autre, Que Dieu vous garde, votre serviteur Dominique!

Comments:Dear Sue,

I worn out my Lolita DVD to see thousand times the scene
where Mason and you are in the car and he says
"we shall find some confortable hotel to spend the night.."
your eyes begin to be sweeter
J.M."were you sorry to leave?"
S.L."not exactly"
there, you make the sweetest and fascinating look I've ever seen. You are a real actress, you obscure Mason and Sellers. You said " I didn't want to be Elizabeth Taylor",
I believe you, you are much better!!!
