 en forsinket stor takk til Marit og Bjørnar for nok et flott årsmøte-treff på Høgkjølen i juni. I år var vært med oss også. Selv om det var kaldt i teltet på natta, var det vertfall ikke minus som de forrige gangene.
Likevel er jeg helt enig med Bjørn i at det er dumt at treffene våre ikke blir meldt inn slik at vi kommer med i teffkatalogen. Tror ganske sikkert vi mister noen deltakere grunnet dette. Vi håper dette blir i orden igjen fra og med 2009!

We beg everybody to check their data and see if everything is correct in order to give everybody a nice attention and a warm reception.

I hope we do not have "extra" particpants, as we have got everything arranged according to these lists.

Also, in our attempt to hurry up inscriptions once people get to the Meeting place, we offer the chance to book vehicles from today on, so they can get instant acces to the camping place. This way, people won't have to wait any line and rather spend that time in the bar or simply meeting old friends, mounting the tents, etc.... All we need is the license plates of the bikes (or cars) so we can give a list to the camping company. Otherwise, they will have to check in at the reception desk and spend a few minutes there. All data given will be used just by me and only for this purpose and will be deleted once the meeting is over. This information can be sent directly to me at nacho@venture-spain.com
For any aditional help you will find my telephone number in one of those links, as well as the one from the President of the Spanish Venture Club, although he does not speak English.
Finally, we would like to let everybody know that we have tried to make groups of 4 people for the bungallow asignations, so everybody pays the same amount more or less. But, in some cases we haven't been able to get 4 people together in the same bungallow and there are some groups of 3 people. These groups will pay the same amount for the bungallow, but sharing the costs between 3 people instead of 4 and therefore, a little bit more expensive. If there is anybody in one of these groups wiling to share to reduce costs, please let us know by sending a direct mail to me to nacho@venture-spain.com
This will be the first time the Spanish Venture Club helds an International Meeting, so we hope everything is OK for you. We have worked very hard and given our best to get everything set up and we hope you like what you will find. And if there is something you don't like during the meeting, please accept our apologize and come AS SOON AS POSSIBLE to us and let us know. We might be able to give you a quick solution if we know your problem.
Please be careful on your trip to Almería and have a nice, relaxed and safe ride to our lovely country. We bet you'll all love Spain and will soon want to be back.

Please allow me to get into your forum to anounce all of you that final date for submissions for the Spanish International Meeting was last Saturday 5 of April.

After a few requests, we have added some more days and now the final dead line for inscriptions is Sunday 13 of April (next Sunday).

There are not too many bungallows left, so if you choose this type of acomodation, hurry up.

Bråvakna,det var ny heimeside og den var ryddig og oversikteleg----veldig bra.

 In Memory of Roland Reiss

One of us left

I feel sorry to inform you guys that Roland Reiss left the Venture scene and also our community. Some of you met him in France.
Ruth his wife, lost her husband, today I lost a very very good friend and our Club lost a very nice member. Roland left much to young in the age of 51 yrs. after a long fight against cancer.
I am so happy that I had the chance in my life to meet such a good person like Roland was. We met each other last year at Doc`s home and rode together to the International Venture Meeting in France. Since that time we became very close friends.

Sorry guys, I am still missing the right words to describe..........

Roland will stay in our hearts forever. We will never forget him..........

We will hardly miss him......
