But, I'm not able to eat my grandmother’s food any more. because, I live 3 to 4 thousand miles away I try to get home once a year to enjoy and relish those days of eating some good ol southern style food. I live in the Seattle area but there aren’t to many place that I can go to enjoy that southern taste plus you know It will never taste like my granny’s cookin I just recently had some chitterling with some hot water corn bread, collard greens,mac and cheese potato salad with chucks of velveta cheese and to top it off for desert yellow cake with the brown suga sausce and they were so good they just melt in your mouth like cotton candy. |
