My grandmother, Sarah Douglass Bickle is on your site, married to James A. Bickle (Bud). My father's name was James A. Bickle and he married my mother Inez Williams during World War II. We lived in Alabama. My father has been deceased about 12 years. Sarah and Bud also had a daughter Laura Bickle who passed away last year. If you would like to add either of these, I would be glad to try and provide the information needed. I understand that Sarah's father was a minister and traveled like a circuit preacher. Sarah and Bud at one time operated a hotel in the panhandle of Texas and also my grandfather served as a sheriff there. I descend from Nancy Martin who married William Isom Douglas through their son John who married Lucinda Pirtle/Pertle through their daughter Nancy Jane Douglas who married Abner Ellis Adair. Nancy died after giving birth to my grandfather, Abner John Adair. A.J. Adair and his wife Oda Youree had four children: Youree Douglas, Alberta Twymann, Janice Francis, and Sue Ellis.
