| Comments: | I am a 47 years old Brazilian fan of super chicken. I used to watch this cartoon in the evenings at the mid 70's. It Was (and still is!) amazing. Just try to understand: it was cartoon network and post-modern decades before cartoon network and post-modern cartoons. That corrosive non-sense humor was light years beyond of the cartoons of its time ( and even todays' cartoons!!). In the 80's I amuse my self thinking about a live action movie: Woody Allen in the title role and Arnold Schwarzenegger playing Fred. Ok, sounds crazy, but it was not the spirit of the series? I hope those guys in hollywood never make with super chicken what they made with George, King of the jungle. The movie was not so bad. However, this new cartoon is a @##$%%%&*¨%$ for the fans of the original. Long live to the mighty chicken!!! (and to Fred, of course...) |

Still remember ordering my "You knew the job was dangerous when you took it, Fred!" t-shirt, getting it in the mail, and wearing it around base on my time off. He used to use a towel as a cape and climb up on the back of my Grandma's couch and wait for his brother to come by and then jump on him while yelling Superchicken's battle cry. He even tried to jump off the roof once, thankfully it was'nt very far off the ground. I came to this site because Uncle Dennis died on July 22, 2008.
