I know by this website that you will never forget the joy Susanna brought into your life even if for a short time. And, her sisters will also learn about her through your love and will hold a special place in their hearts.
I lost my fourth child, Alexandra, on January 9th, 2004. She was just 3 days old, diagnosed with Trisomy 13. We go to the cemetary weekly, read books, have snacks, sing, etc. I'm still going through the most difficult time of my life, but know God will see me through. | Comments: | What a beautiful site and thank you for sharing your story. My son Cole, was born still at 32 weeks due to complications with trisomy 18. I found out at 18 1/2 weeks that he had full edward's syndrome and although advised strongly to terminate, we also could not. It is the stories that I read online that gave me the hope to continue to give my son the chance. Thank you again for the insight that it is possible to have a day.. let alone 7 weeks. And although I never held my son outside my body while breathing, I got to hold him for 32 weeks and will always hold him in my heart. |

| Comments: | Hi, I just wanted to say your story was so similer to mine, my daughters name is Trinity she was born c-sectiom on Oct 10, 2001 she also weighed 4lbs 6oz she was 16 inches long, the doc keep telling me there was nothing wrong with her even when I was pregnant they told we i was a worry wart. I new in my heart there was something wrong. She lived to be 5mts old . She was smiling days before she passed away, she passed away in my arms very peacefully on March 10, 2002 she was 5 mts old that day, we miss her so much. I go visit her often. I think all are babies are a true gift from God, I'm truly sadden for all the familys who have lost there Little Angel, God Bless all of you...

I wish I had the chance to meet Susanna, from what I have just read and what I have been told she was a beautiful little girl who touched everybodies hearts in some way. Somebody once told me to aim for the moon and if you fall short you will always be up there shining among the stars, to me this is where Susanna will always be. Laura and Clare are also very lucky to have parents as great as you and John.
