A classic blue/white tabby, he is the most beautiful natured cat we have ever had, full of energy and has kept the whole family entertained with his funny antics every day since. We would highly recommend anyone considering buying a Maine Coon to purchase from this breeder! We drove up to Hervey Bay to collect our stunning kitten and had the privilege to see all of the Queens, Studs and house pets and was so impressed with how healthy and beautifully natured ALL the Maine Coon cats were. With over 500 entries, Duke was one of the youngest in his breed/group and he took Best Maine Coon Neuter in 2 rings, reserve maine coon neuter in another and also took 3 top 10 placings. 3rd top 10, 4th top 10 and a 6th top 10. I know you have heard it before but after looking and reading about the breed I'm certain my Charlie Brown is part Maine Coon. Just letting you know of our exciting weekend at the 2007 ACF 35th National Cat Show in Hobart. Rascal Fire Storm (7 1/2 months) won Best Maine Coon Kitten in both rings and went on to reserve in Group1 in 1 ring and 3rd in the other from 40 kittens. Rascal Destiny's Child won 3rd best Maine Coon and 10th in Group1 in one ring from 21 other neuters. and Janelle's Rascal Garfield won 1st Maine Coon neuter and went on to win reserve neuter in Group1 in the other ring. Your beautiful big Maine Coon babies are just the best, so calm and affectionate even with us as strangers they checked us out and accepted us. Very nice website and some great looking MC's. It was great to hear that you now have "Fire"....and was really surprised to find out he is a half brother to our "Bear". Both with the desire to ride on your shoulder. That's great when they are kittens....but they are definietly Maine Coons and they definitely get much heavier. :) Although it sounds like your shoulders are suffering more than mine, if you have Tommy trying to ride at the same time as Fire. I love this site, and often call in to see how the 'babies' are growing - they are gorgeous and as they grow keep on looking better. Early last year when I had 'lost' one of my good hunting cats(17yo) and was looking for a replacement, I found my ideal with the Maine Coon. Luckily I caught up with Roger who patiently with many phone calls about enclosures,feeding,grooming,nail cutting, even to litter, transformed me to an indoor cat owner.I wanted my cat to breath fresh air and be able to stretch out and run, 11mtsx2mts of our verandah was enclosed as an outdoor run for less than $100. We were happy. Then in May my precious little black smoke boy 'Fonzie' made the journey from QLD to Tassie-12hrs travel. He is well suited to his name, he strolls around like Mr cool, always in the right place at the right time usually within a metre from my side he is very faithful always ready for a smooch,pat,play or food!,charming and endearing. My only regret-I did not take up the offer to get 2 kittens. I had loved the propper 'out of the wild look tabby coons', and this year I could not resist one little face, and was lucky enough to get my own most beautiful tabby coon 'Dessy',she is also very loyal, at my side, or in front preempting my next move to be there first, she is very playful,full of mischief and love.I could not be happier with her what ever her colour be. When I read other peoples comments- I know what they mean. No amount of pictures, talking, explanation etc, can ever prepare any one for the wonderful nature and temperament of the kitten that awaits them, and I think there lies the true essence of the beautiful big, Rascal bred cats. "To pat a Maine Coon is to feel it with your heart" |

| Comments: | I researched the "coonies" and then went too australian web sites.I emailed 3 and only one replied and that was Helen.We live a good 15 hours drive away ,so i went on helen,s decriptions and photo,s.Our boy that has been flown too us and has lived with us is the most precious cat i have ever known,,he is truley worth everything Helen told me and more.!!!(and i have known alot of cats,when i was little we had 36,,being on a farm).
"nuts" is out of gatsby and saboo,and has two pics on helens site.a beautiful black smoke..I adore "my witches cat" and even my tough hubby is very soft with him."nuts' has the most precious ,soft nature,extremely playful(much too our burmese disgust) ,yet ever so loving and certainly a lap cat.he needs too know where we are at all times.thankyou Helen and Rodger |

| Comments: | I have to say Helen and Roger has so much patience ... I must of phoned them a dozen times and fired so many questions at them and then visited and visited again and asked for so many photos. I DROVE THEM NUTS but it was never a problem they answered all my questions and more they welcomed me every time to there home they took photo and sent them on they were great to deal with. Their cats are to die for they are so friendly and affectionate and love to show off. When I visited I expected cages but nope here they were all over the house just what I wanted to see and Helen she just laughs when the cats do something naughty and her response is ... it can be replaced but the cat cant. There great people that truly love there animals and it was a pleasure to meet and deal with Rascal Maine Coons.

| Comments: | Well Hi there Helen & Roger, I am sorry it has taken me so long to get around to sighning your great DREAMBOOK !!!!!!!!!!, my beautiful Maincoon fondly called Teddy ( or as you and i say Helen " THE TED " ) is now 18mths old and he is huge , with a personality to match his size , as you know Helen i lost one of my Coonies last year in a tragic accident and i did not think i would recover from that loss for quite some time , but as luck would have it a beautiful little Black Girl was offered to me by you as i had mentioned to you that one day down the track i would love one more COONIE to go with TED & JAFF , so when this sweet little girl was born she was mine from day one , but to anybody out there who has ever owned a Maincoon it is very hard to stop at 1 or 2 , so along with my little black girl BRONTE , i talked my long suffering husband into letting me have BRONTE'S brother , who is a dead ringer for his DDG FATHER, GATSBY (or as Helen say's GUTSBY)we called him TULLY , and he is the most sweetnatured cat you could wish for , and between him Bronte & THE TED they keep me very busy and very happy , and the loss of Jaff is getting easier to look back on , i don't know how i would have got through that loss with out Helens e-mails and words of wisdom and great kindness that she always made available to me and for all that , and for my 3 beautiful COONIES ,I want to say thank you so much Helen , my cats mean everything to me as you no , i am sorry it has taken me 3mths to put this message in your guestbook , but as we are now firm friends who share lots of things including our great passion for these Magnificent cats that you breed to share with others like me ,i know you will understand how busy our lives get, so if you are visiting Helen & Rogers beautiful photo gallery THE TED is pictured several times ( Helen has a soft spot for him , he is so NAUGHTY and was from the day he was born )i think she sent him to us knowing he would be the perfect coonie for me , he is the KOOL KAT in the fridge next to the can of Bourbon , i turned my back for 2 mims and he was in there like a shot and was very happy to stay in there for his picture to be taken , so if you are thinking about getting owned by a coonie you could not go past Helens Beautiful Maincoons , she has got some really gorgeous cats and seens to have a knack of pulling off some great mating's , her kittens are to die for , and i go back time after time to her amazing site to look at all the up and coming stars, just by reading all the messages in the book i no that there are lots & lots of you out there who love these TRULY MAGNIFICENT CATS as much as i do . so once again i would like to say A HUGE THANK YOU HELEN , FOR STICKING AT IT WHEN SOMETIMES YOU FEEL LIKE THROWING IN THE TOWEL , YOU BRING A LITTLE BIT OF MAGIC INTO THE LIVES OF ANYBODY LUCKY ENOUGH TO BE ABLE TO GET ONE OF YOUR BEAUTIFUL CATS !!!!!!!!!!!!!
