| Comments: | On June 17/18, my lovely and loving wife, Diane, chose to take her life because she could no longer endure the agonizing pain of her children professing to hate her for NO apparent reason. While we were married for only a short time (2yrs-2 months), she gave me a lifetime of joy. I love her and miss her deeply.
Diane’s alienation from her children began in August 1999 when her eldest daughter (12 yrs old at the time) just quit coming for her regular stay at moms and her father said he would not encourage her to do so. The two other children (ages 11 & 7) continued to come as scheduled. A friend and attorney in Colorado told me at the time it sounded a lot like parental alienation and sent me some info. We were married in April 2000, by May, Diane’s ex began calling, and telling her, she would never see the children again and filed for a custody change from shared to sole in late May along with allegations my wife was or would harm the children. Unfortunately, the attorney we hired, Pamela S., blew off the parental alienation info I passed along and told us to agree to go to supervised visitation. She assured us this would only last 1 or 2 months at most. We were still seeing the children only once a week at a visitation center, as opposed to 50% of the time, by the time we went to court in July of 2001. Along the way, we fired P. S., the first attorney, and hired another who told us that agreeing to supervised visitation was a gross error, but he refused to so testify against the first attorney. He did however at least read the parental alienation info and obtained a therapist for Diane and the children. We won on ALL points in court and the judge ordered that the 50/50 split was to resume and that the children were to receive counseling from a specific therapist. Her ex-husband was required to be actively participate also. The more than year long separation has resulted in the children not wanting to come to our home and stating that they hated their mom. In fact, the called her Diane, and referred to their step mom as mama. They did come despite their objections and protests from August through Thanksgiving then abruptly stopped coming and even refused to answer emails. Diane counted on the therapy, which continued, to help. She refused to go back to court because she did not want to put the children through the ordeal. Diane’s pain was agonizing. Many times, she cried all day and some nights she cried herself to sleep. She worked tirelessly in our garden (another of her passions) in an effort to exhaust herself to sleep at night. She continued at therapy with the children, although her ex was court ordered to participate also, he refused. He also refused to pay for therapy the children so we paid. (We have spent over 50% of our income on this and attorneys.) Move forward to June 2002, the therapist was now prepared to go to court on her own to ask that the children be removed from their father's home because the alienation if he didn’t become actively involved in therapy as the judge ordered. My wife was happy but terrified because that meant the children would most likely go to a foster home for several months. The ex was to be informed the next day, June 18, at a regularly scheduled therapist appt for the children. That evening my wife received a horrendous, mean, and hateful email from her now 13-year-old daughter. I guess this was finally all too much. She cried when she received the email but responded as most moms would, with devastation. She emailed her daughter back and told me she had to go out. I finished a phone call then washed the dishes; going to bed at about 9:45pm. I awoke at about 3:08am and my wife had not returned so I sought to find her unfortunately 50 yards down our driveway she decided to end her agonizing and excruciating pain. I miss her, the pain I now have is almost unbearable but I know it cannot compare to what she has endured these last 2 years. In my opinion, her ex-husband, Louis Allen B. murdered her. He often said he would not rest until he saw Diane dead. And he made it a point to write a close family friend 3 years ago saying, that he would “make sure the children never saw their grandparents, aunt and uncles or nieces and nephews again. Friends of the children, whose families remained friendly to Diane, were rooted out of the children’s lives. Many family friends were alienated as well. It is despicable and beyond my comprehension, how someone who professes to love his children can use them as a weapon in his war of hatred. I must go on to insure that the children continue with therapy and Mr. B. stops denigrating their mother while in death. She was a peaceful, loving, caring and thoughtful lady. She loved her plants, was a gourmet cook, and was fully and completely devoted to her children, our three dogs, kitten, and her husband. She loved me more than I deserved. I have two rather large questions to all therapists, attorneys, and judges and the family court systems in general: HOW MANY MORE MUST DIE BEFORE WE PUT AN END TO THIS CANCER? THE BIGGEST LOSERS ARE THE CHILDREN, HOW MANY MORE CHILDREN ARE TO BE COMPLETELY ROBBED OF THEIR CHILDHOODS AND ADULTHOODS? |

| Comments: | Craig,
It was a pleasure working with you on the CD. I urge everyone who supports this cause to purchase one and another one for a friend. God hears the cries of all our children whether missing or in our arms on a daily basis. This project was not just a project, but our love for all children who are lost in the system. I have two children of my own, 10 years old and 3 months old whom I love unconditionally. I personally love the songs. Children make up the hearts of all adults. They teach patience and compation to all who in their growth. The cycle never ends. May all the children be returned home safely to their loved ones who fight so diligently to retrieve them safely. God Bless all whom are His. Love always Kim Thomas |

| Comments: | Craig ~ simply beautiful music! I first 'made your acquaintance' through Suzanne Brawley's Mail Truck months ago when she shared your story with us. Recently, she shared the Grammy nomination news and your wonderful song, "Ribbons of Hope" from your new CD. In mid-October, I moved from Indiana to Melbourne, FL. What a surprise as I was reading "Florida Today" this morning! There you were again! My heart is heavy these days as my youngest son's family is breaking apart, leaving my precious 2.5 year old grandson caught in the middle. This child whose birth I witnessed; this child who was placed into my arms at birth even before his mother's; this child for whom I provided loving care while his parents struggled to both work and finish college; this child who will now go through the pain and questioning - perhaps even forgetting, as a continent will soon come between him and his father and between him and his grandmother .. his "Noni." YES, your songs strike a chord! And not just for the parents engaged in custody battles, but for the grandparents and extended families as well. I'm purchasing copies of your CD to give to my children for Christmas. Keep up the wonderful work! |

| Comments: | Craig,
I located your page looking up information on one of my favorite drummers, Walter "Clyde" Orange. My name is Tommy Tyronne Gray. Everybody calls me TTG. I don't live too far from you. I'm in Palm Beach County, living and working in the City of Greenacres. I am a Public Safety(police/fire) Officer, working in the Community Oriented POlicing Unit. I primarily work with juveniles on probation. I do a lot of work with children, recently mentored two young men in the Florida Youth ChalleNGe Academy in Stark, Fl(Camp Blanding). I am proud of your music. I always felt the best songs were stories set to music. You have quite a story to tell! I will purchase your cd on Wednesday. In the meantime, if you are working on material and need lyrical assistance, I would be more than glad to help. I sing also and have written some songs I think you would enjoy. I will be near you the weekend of March 13th. If you are available then, contact me. 1-561-385-5204(cell) 1-561-683-7658(home) 1-561-642-2133(work) I was featured in the Palm Beach Post(@tim_pallesen@pbpost.com) on December 24, 2003 if you would like to know a little more about me. The article is entitled "Police officer knows true meaning of giving". Congratulations on your musical contribution for our children. Maybe we will meet one day. TTG |
