Ik ben een Belgische politieman, lid van het korps lokale politie in de stad Lokeren (Oost Vlaanderen).
Mijn verzameling politie-attributen is helaas niet zo uitgebreid als die van u (260 petten en helmen,een 400-tal metalen en stoffen emblemen, een 50-tal uniformen, en voor de rest miniatuur politieauto's, handboeien ed.). Ik heb een aantal items van de huidige politie, van de voormalige rijkswacht en de gemeentepolitie te ruil.
Indien interesse, verwacht ik een seintje.

Ik ben politie-inspecteur in de politiezone GRENS, Essen-Kalmthout-Wuustwezel (ten noorden van Antwerpen). Sedert een tiental jaren ben ik verzamelaar van politiepetten wereldwijd. Momenteel heb ik 597 exemplaren, uit 85 verschillende landen. Heel de collectie staat in een privé museum in het oude politiebureel van Kalmthout. U hebt ook een prachtige collectie. Jammes dat ik niets heb van wat U nog zoekt. Mocht het U intresseren, ik heb nog wel oude Belgische politiepetten, helmen, rijkswachtpetten van voor de eenheidspolitie. Ook petten van de nieuwe lokale politie kan ik U aanbieden. Uw politie-regio is niet zo ver uit de buurt. Ik heb ook wel intresse in de Franse kepie die U in aanbieding hebt. Laat mij iets weten over een eventuele deal.

Comments:Great site !! I am a retired lieutenant from the Miami-Dade Police Dept in Miami, Florida. We are the largest dept in the southeast US and the ninth largest in the US. I am currently the Director of College Security at the Savannah (Georgia) College of Art and Design. Nog veel succes met je verzameling. Ben sedert een jaar zelf bezig met het verzamelen van kepies. Heb er al een stuk of 80. Wat mij opvalt is dat je waarschijnlijk zeer goede contacten hebt met betrekking tot 'State Troopers'- ik heb al vanalles gedaan om dergelijke state troopers te bemachtigen/ruilen/kopen, doch zonder resultaat.
