was me first favorite movie and still is. I remember when
i was little i used to build the Orca out of lagos and
reenact the movie. The character's back grounds were
thick, especially Quint, and the plot was great. Thank you

seen it over 250x...have a framed original poster, i have a
tape of the deleted scenes and outtakes if anyone is
interested............it is hands down the best horror

Comments: When I first saw JAWS I was about six years old. I didn't go
in the bath tub for a week! It is my favorite movie of all
time an I also think it was the best casted movie ever made.
I was awed by the way Shaw spoke of the USS Indianapolis.
That still gives me the chills. I must tell you all that the
"Deep Blue Sea" was the biggest rip-off of JAWS, "Jesus H.
Christ" as Quint would say. I appreciate the person(s) who

Comments: How can I start? This website has been a dream come-true
for me. Ever since the first time I saw it I have loved it.
You just can't make these kinds of movies anymore. As I
commented on the Jaws VHS on Amazon, "A true classic.
Definately Spielberg's best piece of directing yet". And
this site is superb. Jake, I can not thank you enough for
the lost scenes footage. Seeing Quint making fun of that
boy playing the clarinet put me in stitches. He was a very
funny man. Brody is my favourite. He's got a certain appeal
about him. Just his facial expressions and actions are
enough to have me laughing for hours, especially after he
finds the licence plate in the tiger shark's stomach, "He
didn't eat a car, did he?"
Having swum with sharks myself at a rather young age
(I'm only 15!), I have grown to love them, but love it more
for some reason when they are show-cased as mindless man-
eaters, but only in the movies of course. Jaws is a
superbly-made film which makes the heart quicken every time
you step into the water.
The site is just great. I've printed off all the colour
stills, the black and white images, bought Jaws merchandise
from here, and the list goes on.
Keep up the great work, Jake, but I have one request;
perhaps you could obtain some interviews with people who
were involved in the production of the movie? Thanks a
bunch.

Comments: I remember watching Jaws 1 at very young age and being very
scared. I felt so sorry for the people who had been eaten
that it brought me to tears on several occasions. I
particularly remember one scene in Jaws 1 when the
remaining parts of the body of the young girl was being
examined. The arm was lifted up and I felt really sick. I
could not eat properly for two weeks.
Fact: Did you know that the young female who went skinny
dipping at the beginning of Jaws 1 actually had some of her
ribs cracked during that scene? The divers accidently
pulled her the wrong and her acting was actually replaced
by reality of pain? Poor girl. |

Comments: Hey great site! Jaws is my all-time favorite movie!
You can not find a better cast and memorable lines as good
as the ones in this film. Quint is my favorite character!
Most memorable lines in movie history were by him as well
as Brody and Hooper, and created my favorite song to
sing "show me the way to go home" and of course Quints
famous whistling. And the shark looked the most real
unlike the other three sequels because look who directed
this movie Steven Spielberg no wonder its soo good! |

Comments: I love the first Jaws since Spielburg is my favorite
directer. It is amazing. I think Joe Alves also did a good
job with the sequels but you can't touch Steven Speilburg.
