Love it! Love it! Love it!
One of the best things to hit Danville in a very long time! I was born and raised in Danville,Va. but I never knew anything like the Tank Museum would ever to come this small city(well,it was small when I was living there).
A wonderful place to spend a day.

Attended the Military Extravaganza on Saturday and had a ball! This is one of the best run family activities in region. We came up from Greensboro and we were glad we did. We'll be back again.
Thanks for all the hard work.

Are you able to send information about next years tank extravaganza? I am the Training Officer for the Historic Elkridge Young Marines who would love to attend next years event. Unfortunately, we have an encampment planned for 25-27 April so we will miss the event for this year, but would like to possibly attend next year.

Thanks!

WOW - Last weekend I took our family and my Dad to your museum. Dad was in the tanks and he talks about his experiences all the time. As a family we had a wonderful time and lots of memories can back to my Dad. I was surprised at how large the museum was and how well kept and clean it was. My sons and their gransdfather are still talking about the visit and it has brought them so much closer. Thank you for the wonderful experience and we will be adopting one of the vehicles that Dad was in.

Folks, show your support for this impressive tank museum by stopping in. But allow several hours because you won't be able to tear yourself away.

Don't forget to see the artillery and smalls arms exibits either as they are quite impressive as well.

Another fine way to show you care and to help make this museum even better is to make a yearly donation.

Let's do our part to preserve the armour that has helped us to preserve our freedom.

My son attends Averett University in Danville. We plan to visit your Museum soon.

How many vehicles do you have in running condition?

I must say my favorite is the M-42 "Duster" as I commanded one while a member of the Virginia Army National Guard (B Battery, 3rd Btn, 111 ADA). In fact, The very "track" I was assigned at Fort Pickett is on display at the Virginia War Museum in Newport News, VA
